Can I get paid for my janitorial and housekeeping work?

    rating17 Feb 2026

Listen I have always gone to this hotel for years cause it’s convenient but after the money I spent and my bath tub was clogged in one room along with the sink I had to dig out clumps of somebody’s hair only god knows who if it wasn’t hair that belonged to many somebody’s both tub and sink had so much hair they were both backing up with gray looking scum I tell the front desk guy and he gives me a plunger the heat was out in our other room and after waiting over night for a repair that never happened only after I extended trip an extra day did they move rooms. This place is not how it used to be I mean I’m used to smoking and people don’t bother me but can I at least get a clean environment that’s a big deal I should have gotten paid for unclogging sinks and tubs in there yet I spent close to a grand for two rooms for like 4 days I was so hurt cause at least before they offered the continental breakfast now that is not even being offered. I leave this review because I hope you guys will get it together like I said this place used to be my hideout when I needed a break from my daily life and now I’m not sure I will ever go back. Guest Services, Owner at Knights Inn Philadelphia, responded to this review Dear Theresa,We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations this time. Experiencing multiple issues during a stay is understandably frustrating, especially when comfort and convenience are affected. Feedback like this is important, and rest assured, it will help us improve the overall guest experience. We hope to welcome you back and make your next visit better.

    Should be shut down

This place is a disaster, I was giving it hope for what they advertised but when I walked in that room it was gross and not what they advertised. Asked for a refund but couldn’t because I was in there for more than 30 minutes so they told me to go back the next day? Room was dirty toilet was filled with pee and towels weren’t even white. Walls were peeling off and smelled like someone died in there I don’t know how this place is even open.

    Never again.

This place is awful. The carpet in the room look like it had not been vacuumed and I could pick up things off the floor. The walls behind the trashcan were disgustingly dirty. There was a spring poking through the mattress that I could feel the first time I laid on the bed. Only one of the lamps worked. I am a handicap person and the handicap spots were taken up by vehicles without a tag or pass in the window. Two vehicles had people sitting in them. When I brought it to the attention of the security officer, he was rude and nasty, and had no sympathy to my situation. The hotel representative suggested I park in the back of the hotel and walk with my things around to the front . When I asked the security officer if he would be talking to the occupants of the vehicle or contacting the police I question the security officer about contacting , he told me I could do that on my own. I understand this was one of the cheaper options, but the condition of the room and the rudeness of the security officer are unacceptable.

Avoid this hotel if you can

    rating17 Dec 2022

I'm no stranger to cheap motels in the US. Been in a lot of Motel 6s, Travelodges, Econolodges as an Eastern European student on a budget. None of them was as bad as this one. A friend booked this for us and clearly he didn't pay attention to the reviews. They are true. The place is dirty. By that I mean filthy, real filthy. The only positive thing is that the bedsheets were reasonably clean and there were no bedbug bites. The "breakfast" is some bad coffee, the breakfast room is "temporarily closed because of the covid". The rooms are dirty and uncared for. Hairs in the bathroom. There is an armed (some cheap AR-15 copy but still...) guard in the lobby. Our rental car was the only one made after 2002 in the parking lot. The place is run by some Hindi guys who don't give a damn. The neighborhood is shaky to say the least. The rest of the guests were mostly hookers and junkies. They are quite noisy during the night but not half as noisy as the antiquated heaters in the room. I'm quite astonished how Wyndham or Day's Inn or whatever their name is did not kick these guys out of their franchise contract. This hotel is not even cheap. But filthy, unsafe, noisy. Avoid it if you can. Avoid at all cost

    rating27 Nov 2022

This hotel was dirty, smelly, dated, in a bad location and had workers that was totally not helpful. The promised breakfast was a box of half eaten donuts from Dunkin Donuts and a thermos full of coffee from somewhere. Do NOT stay at this hotel. Days Inn and Wyndham Group should be ashamed of themselves for including this property in their portfolio. Guest Relations Manager, Owner at Knights Inn Philadelphia, responded to this review Dear JWH2199, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We are sorry for sharing with us such an inconvenience with our cleanliness and amenities that did not live up to your expectations. It's important for us to impress our guests and your comments will make this goal that much more attainable. We have raised this concern to our maintenance manager for immediate action. I apologize that your recent stay was not a good one but we hope you'll return someday to see how we're improving.
