Clean but noisy!

I’m sure you’ve seen all the other reviews by now lol, but if you plan to stay here, be prepared for it to be noisy. They even provide earplugs on your bed when you check in lol. The hotels location is super convenient and has walk ability, but that also means you hear the clubs thumping until 2am. Once the clubs are over it’s quiet and you can rest lol. Other than that, the hotel was really nice, rooms were clean, and staff were really friendly. The only thing I didn’t like about our room was the shower. There was no door, so it made the floor pretty wet, even with the towel on the bottom. So strange. I would only stay here again if I planned on partying.

It is a good aloft. Lobby is small and tiny but the room is not. Very spacious and nice room, wish there was a mini fridge in room but minor detail. Bar, socal, eating and pool areas are all what you expect at an aloft. Good location near the heart of old town Scottsdale with plenty of dining and bar options in walking distance.

No restaurant.No outlets USB or otherwise on each nightstand.Smack in the middle of an entertainment district where this & other hotels offer white noisy machines to try & mask the thumping come from 10 or more clubs within a two square block area.A chair in the room only a 20something would find comfortable.The charm of a high school cafeteria!

Loud, Worn Down, and Not Worth the Price

I stayed at Aloft Scottsdale recently and won’t be returning.The shower design was awkward and uncomfortable, and the wall-mounted soap dispensers were broken. That pretty much set the tone. The room itself felt tired with scuffed finishes, dated fixtures, and nowhere near as polished as the photos make it seem.The biggest issue is the noise. The hotel sits right next to several clubs, and the music and street noise go late into the night. Not “faint background buzz” loud, full-on, can’t-sleep loud. You can also hear hallway traffic and neighboring rooms. Soundproofing is basically nonexistent. What really says it all is that they hand out earplugs at check-in. That tells me they’re fully aware there’s a noise problem. If you need to supply earplugs as a standard amenity, that’s not a small issue, that’s the experience.Common areas felt worn, and the pool and gym were underwhelming for the price. Overall, it feels like a property that’s overdue for a refresh but still charging like it’s in peak condition. Reviews from almost two years ago mention Management's "upcoming renovations" but it doesn't look like Marriott has invested in this property for years.If you’re planning to enjoy Scottsdale nightlife and don’t care about sleep, maybe this works. If you value a quiet, comfortable stay, look elsewhere.

Motel vibes on hotel prices.

The room was clean, updated, and I love that it wasn't carpeted. The staff was friendly and the amenities listed on here are accurate.There was a coffeemaker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, and a safe box. It did NOT have a microwave or refrigerator. We were told you'd have to request them if available. Considering I was there for a marathon, a fridge was needed but they ran out. There was a charging port on one side of the bed only. So if you're sharing the room, come prepared with a long cord. There was no switch for the bathroom ventilation fan that I could find. Breakfast is available for purchase only. But with no fridge or microwave, I couldn't buy perishables or microwavable food to bring to the room. There was no point in bringing leftovers back when eating out. Aloft gave me Motel 6 vibes on hotel prices. I'll probably come back if there are no other options nearby.
