Tired, in need of an update. Stay elsewhere.

    rating17 Jul 2026

I have been staying at this hotel on and off for business for at least 15 years and sadly in continues to deteriorate. The bed is so worn and sloped to the side I thought I might fall out. The tub is peeling and worn out in multiple places. Zero wash cloths, I checked with my colleagues and they had zero wash cloths as well, no hot water in the morning. And of course, no water pressure anyhow. I will be doing my best to convince my company to switch hotels.

    Customer Service lacking

    rating05 Jul 2026

First, I want to say that most of the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that was one of the few positive parts of my stay. Before checking in, we ordered food from the restaurant and ate there. The young woman working there was not very friendly, which wasn’t a great first impression.Check-in went smoothly, and our room was what we had paid for. However, after returning to the hotel around 2:30 a.m., we were abruptly awakened by the fire alarm. Being startled awake by a hotel fire alarm was terrifying. Once I realized what was happening, I left the room and tried to make my way downstairs, but there was confusion about where everyone was supposed to go. After standing outside and waiting, we were eventually told it was a false alarm caused by someone smoking and that we could return to our rooms.By then, we were completely awake and couldn’t fall back asleep until around 5:30 a.m. That made for a rough start to the next day, especially since we had planned to spend the day exploring the area. The next morning, we went down for breakfast. The gentleman at the omelet station was unfriendly for no apparent reason, and the breakfast itself was mediocre at best. Before leaving for the day, I spoke with the front desk about the disruption caused by the fire alarm. I was essentially told that because another guest had caused the alarm, the hotel would not be offering any compensation or gesture of goodwill. While I understand they may not have been responsible for the guest’s actions, the rest of us still experienced a major disruption to our stay. A little empathy or an effort to make things right would have gone a long way.I left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed. Between the middle-of-the-night fire alarm, the lack of concern from management afterward, and the unfriendly service in the restaurant and at breakfast, this was not an enjoyable stay. I will not be staying at this Embassy Suites again. I hope they take guest concerns more seriously and improve both their customer service and how they handle situations like this in the future. Guest Relations Team, Owner at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disruption caused by the fire alarm and understand how frustrating it was to have your rest interrupted. While we’re glad some of our team members provided friendly service, we’re sorry other aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. Your comments regarding service, dining, and communication have been shared with our team as we continue improving the guest experience.

We will be back ,soon I hope

    rating12 Jun 2026

We’ve stayed here many many times and we’re always happy to be back ..It’s our chill out place .Sit by the pool and love the view .We have a golf course / Mountain View every time .Nice touch is the firepit which we did sit at as it was unexpectedly chilly end of April . The managers reception was fabulous with grazing boards every night .. It was very popular .The very best of this hotel can be found at breakfast ..The staff are just so friendly,Tabitha the breakfast cook makes fabulous omelettes and eggs and always with a smile .There’s always plenty to eat from the help yourself buffet if you don’t want to wait for eggs cooked to order .The other breakfast staff are always replenishing and clearing away … Silva ,what a sweet guy and Martha ,Laura and Abriana really do a good job .Housekeeping staff were just as good ,we chose not to have service everyday but they were happy to take and exchange our towels ,shout out to Nacho & Angelica.. We will be back .. Guest Relations Team, Owner at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear our hotel continues to be your go-to place to relax and unwind. We appreciate your kind words about the pool views, firepit, evening reception, and especially our breakfast team. We’ll be sure to share your recognition with Tabitha, Silva, Martha, Laura, Abriana, Nacho, and Angelica. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another relaxing stay soon!

Wifi was unavailable for 2 days.

    rating22 May 2026

Beware for business travelers, wifi was out for 2 days. This is my second time staying here on a business trip. The hotel is not bad needs a renovation but rooms are spacious and is close to where I come in from work. One thing that needs drastic improvement is customer service, some folks are friendly especially the lady cooking the eggs. But the reception staff are a hit and miss especially with the women. The wifi and phone connection was out when I asked at the reception its a dismissive response its out, asked when it would be back, dont know. Wifi was out for 2 days and thats really poor and unacceptable for a business traveler. The check out experience is similar they hardly look at you. Guest Relations Team, Owner at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you find the rooms spacious and the location convenient for your business travel, and we appreciate your kind mention of our breakfast team. We are very sorry, however, for the WiFi outage you experienced and the lack of clear communication and attentiveness from the front desk during your stay. Reliable connectivity and professional service are especially important for business travelers, and we understand the frustration this caused. Your comments have been shared with hotel leadership for review.

    Great rooms for family travel!

    rating31 Mar 2026

We were a family of 3 adults 2 children.Having the separate areas to sleep, with bathroom entrance on both sides. It was very accommodating. Having the microwave and mini fridge were great too. The grounds seemed well maintained including pool. The pool was quite busy, so if you didn’t grab a lounger early you may not be sitting by the pool. The cooked to order breakfast is great Omelette’s made your way, some mornings waffle. Evening reception is also a nice added bonus even though we were unable to utilize it much. There was plenty of stores and resteraunt close by. I think my only complaint is the coffee and coffee pot in room. It just was not good. However downstairs in the lobby and for breakfast was great. Staff were nice. Overall, probably would stay here again. Guest Relations Team, Owner at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear that your family enjoyed the spacious rooms, amenities, and our cooked-to-order breakfast. We appreciate your note about the in-room coffee. It’s wonderful to know you found our staff helpful and the grounds well maintained. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back on your next visit!
