  Money hungry salesman, women and not family supportive

  Really disappointed with this location. Stayed here in February for a week. Aside from not being able to lock our door and the large gap at bottom of door…Let me begin by saying I did have high hopes for this trip. My bestie and I made a road trip to Scottsdale from Albuquerque. When we checked in we were exhausted… but happy we made it and mentioned it to front desk that we were attending Innings Festival. To our surprise the very pretty but plump lipped female at desk said she overheard us telling front desk we were going and had an amazing opportunity for us as guests of Wyndham… sh said as a benefit we could purchase a $100 per ticket band for their bungalow as a member. I asked what exactly is the catch… ?She straight faced looked at us and said… you just have to let us know about the experience because we want to know…Wow maybe this was an actual gift from them… of course I had to pay a little…Fast forward to the day we’re supposed to go and give our opinions and feedback. We went to office to do our thing… and they were surprised my husband wasn’t with me…. I told them from start he wasn’t because of work…. That this trip was a bestie one.After finding that out we were told it didn’t matter . We needed to go into a 45 mins sales pitch meeting. We both explained that the female at the front said it was for feedback on the wristbands…They started laughing as we described her and said that the girl with the big lips is our best friend..and they kept laughing about her lips and making comments.Ok and? Well you have to go in anyway…Went in sat down … with my bestie… they start the sales pitch…But I explained look… I appreciate all of this … but I can’t make any major or financial decisions without my husband. We got WorldMark by Wyndham when we got married almost 20 years ago.The Head sales man came out from office and tried to bully me into separating my membership with my husband. Ummm what? Excuse me? Are they seriously telling me to financially separate from my husband to appease his bottom line. Doesn’t seem very family friendly… will Wyndham enjoy my divorce for lying to my spouse and causing financial issues? They sure would have…After being bullied and pressured . I had to keep saying “no” on my family’s behalf.After such a great trip to have it crapped on was a let down….I would not recommend this location due to the sales department. Also… due to this behavior… after 20 years of ownership… we are considering getting rid of it because of this experience.Ughhh makes me sad.

  If you are not worried about the AC being very loud, then stay. Overall service was good. No cleaning in the unit unless you stayed for 14 or more days. Internet only for owners, not RCI. Must pay $50 for internet use.

  We chose this resort due to location of two events this weekend. First of all this is not a resort , it’s more like a hotel. We chose studio only due to no 1 bed until was not available for our stay. We arrive 3:45pm, greeted by staff, started check in process, was told our room was not ready and that he didn’t know when it would be, and took my phone # to text me when ready. And reminded me check in time wasn’t until 4pm or latter. At 4:01 pm went back up to the check in desk, this time a lady helped and said our room was ready. Come on -how rude to make your guest wait 15 minutes just to hand them room keys, when your paying the price we did this should not have been an issue for anyone, but some higher up there is really missing customer service when you play games like that. The room has a feel of a motel 6 , and I haven’t been to a motel 6 in 40 years. Stay away from this place as you will not be comfort it is so small you don’t have even a night stand on one side of the bed. There is a small microwave, that takes up the entire kitchen sink area, a small rusted sink , coffee pot . Dishes for 4 , which I don’t understand , no dish washer. No drain rack if you wanted to use and wash. Tiny fridge like in a dorm. That makes so much noise all night . Bed was King size and comfortable. Bathroom was ok , conditioner was empty. 2 large towels, 2 medium towels, 2 face cloths. Toilet paper was almost empty. Why not just put a new roll in so disgusting. Our room assignment was 2 floor, no elevator. So if your handicap this definitely wouldn’t work for you. We also had to pay $108 to clean room. Because this was only 2 night stay . Made this room $54 more per night . Once again this is not a resort, it’s more like a hotel.

  Beautiful resort, but between staff whose only concern is your attending sales presentation and not fixing the non-functioning amenities and/or ensuring your overall comfort and enjoyment, there's a problem!
