Noisy, next to freeway

Room was very comfortable and spacious, but there is a lot of road noise day and night, given location immediately next to a freeway. All double queen rooms apparently are on the side of the hotel facing the freeway, none are on the quieter more scenic side facing the river. But at least they provide earplugs! Parking is on the pricier side: $22 per night PLUS “parking tax” of $8.25 per night (not mentioned at check-in). Terrible experience on so many levels

I’ve stayed at plenty of Hotel Indigo’s around the world and have come to expect a certain standard from the brand. This experience fell far short. First of all I had booked a 2 Queen Premium with Sofa Bed (we were 3 friends traveling). But upon arrival I was told the room category I booked was not available. So as a solution they put us into a 2 Queen Accessible room and gave us a rollaway cot. I’m not exaggerating when I say this cot was not fit for a FEMA camp. The “mattress pad” was so thin and flimsy, you were basically sleeping right on the metal frame. Forcing two of my friends to share one of the Queen beds together. The front desk person was absolutely no help when I brought this matter up to her, and kept trying to convince us the cot was very comfortable. It absolutely wasn’t. Breakfast was comped at their restaurant as an apology. But the food there was pretty bland and unappealing. And to make matters worse, I had booked a special rate for extra IHG Reward Points. But they never awarded me those points. Which lead to a lot of phone calls between IHG and the hotel to ultimately get them banked. Spacious Premium Room near Pitt - Mixed experience

We stayed here to pick up my daughter from Pitt for Thanksgiving break. Overall, it was a solid 4/5 stay with a few quirks.Check-in was smooth and friendly; they recognized our IHG status with welcome amenities and upgraded us from a standard to a Premium Room. The room layout was actually really cool—there’s a distinct separation between the living area and the bedroom, which made it feel spacious.However, the furniture has definitely seen better days. The sofa wasn't comfortable, the desk chair actually had duct tape on a small section, and the bed sheets had some pilling (though the beds themselves were comfy). Our room faced I-376, so the road noise is noticeable, but they thoughtfully provided earplugs. Parking came out to just over $30/night after tax. Nice design and convenient location, just feels like the room furnishings need a refresh.

Clean modern hotel. We had a large room that was perfect - it surprised us!The only drawback was having to pay $30 for parking. For a hotel that is not downtown, that is unreasonable.

The hotel is beautiful but I stayed on the street side and couldn’t sleep. Truck noise was awful. The ear plugs they provided says it all. No water is provided upon check in, or in the room. When I checked out, I asked if I could have a water and was told it was only for members. ( I did book through a third party but for $248 on a Tuesday night, I feel they could have given me a bottle of water.
