I wish the booking sites had accurate information about some of the amenities not being available due to renovations. I strongly feel that I overpaid for the rooms. Other hotels around the general area had lower prices and more amenities

Birthday getaway with friends. Although the hotel is under construction it was not disturbing and rooms very clean. Great location for walking to many great places in Plymouth.

Check-in was fast and easy. The woman at check-in was very friendly and efficient and answered all our questions. Rooms were clean, maybe had been updated during renovation within the last 6 months. Closet / storage area was big enough to hang our clothes and store our shoes and boots. Bathroom was clean, roomy and loved the mirror across the wall with extra counter space. Could have used a liner with the shower curtain so that water would not get on the floor during showering. Nice big towels. Hair dryer provided. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Refrigerator in the room, but not a small microwave. Keurig coffee pot with Keurig pods. Only complaint was when I realized there were no mirrors in the room. So when bathroom was occupied, could not do makeup or hair without a mirror. Did not her roust children or people talking in the hallways from our room, which we appreciated. Other than missing a mirror in the room, everything was excellent. We also used the pool and hot tub, which was the reason for choosing this hotel. Unfortunately our first visit to the hot tub, the hot tub was cold. A day later they had fixed the heating element, wasn’t as hot as I prefer, but was usable. Kids were enjoying the slide and pool, which in my opinion could have been a bit warmer, but everybody else didn’t seem to mind the temp. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. From what we learned while in Plymouth, this hotel has recently changed hands, and we could see how things have improved with their renovations. As for the spa - hotel staff could not answer any questions about the spa and we never stopped in to ask about their services. We did go in the attached restaurant, CJ’s, and had drinks and an appetizer. When we asked the hotel staff about the restaurant, they had no info except for hours. We did enjoy the staff in the bar area and service was great. Prices for meals seem comparable to other restaurants in Plymouth and the food looked good. We love that there was a restaurant attached - especially the night it was pouring rain and we did not want to go out. Each morning we did go to the restaurant to get coffee to take to our room, had good strong coffee.
