The Columbia River Gorge is roughly 83 km away and Mt Hood ski region is some 96 km away.

Comfy, clean, fun, safe parking in underground garage. Easy commute to downtown and OHSU. Sitting area nice right outside our room. Loved the bamboo planters. Would stay again. Superior hotel for the area

Fall in love here. This place has it all. A true jem. Rooms are spotless, large and comfortable. I received #402 magnificent sunset, beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I was riding my Harley and the desk person got the spot right in front of the West entry. 24 hour view I can't remember his name but I will. They have a quality bar/ munchie area. I wish I could give them 6 stars. Every employee was superb. I will never stay anywhere else. This is equal or better than Marriott and Hilton (worth foregoing the bonus stay points) shower is huge! Great for two ?? Over priced for what you get

Overpriced for what you get. Had to pay resort fee for no parking and bad coffee.Front desk staff was not friendly and welcoming at all. Not clean. Room smelled like smoke, hotel-brand condoms on the nightstand was a strange touch as well. I was there for about an hour while deciding what hotel to go to and they didn’t give me a full refund since I had already checked in. They made me pay two nights rate. Parking was either $20 or $40. They get pricey with the extra stuff. Jupiter Hotel, Guest Services / Front Office at Jupiter Hotel, responded to this review We’re very sorry the room didn’t feel clean or comfortable during your visit. Jupiter Original is a non-smoking property so any smoke odor is something we take seriously, and we wish we’d had the chance to address it while you were still here. Some of our in-room amenities, including the branded condoms, are playful by design but we understand they may not be everyone’s style. Because the reservation had already been checked in, we weren’t able to refund the full stay but we’re glad the unused portion and parking were refunded. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to keep tightening up the guest experience.

Great location for exploring the city's east side, and I also had a nice walk into old town across the Burnside Bridge one day. Fantastic hotel, would stay again.
