  Absolutely wonderful and enjoyable stay! The Sentinel was the perfect "home" base for my trip to Portland (solo + 12 YO son). Every team member we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room service was superb and we felt so comfortable in the well-appointed double room we selected - the robes, linens, comfortable chairs and bathroom amenities were excellent. Already dreaming about our next visit to Portland and the Sentinel will be at the top of our list. Oh! And the wine hour in the lobby was an unexpected bonus - very enjoyable in the evening after hours of travel and sightseeing.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Sentinel. Very cool vibes here. A good blend of old style early 1900s architecture combined with modern day conveniences. The rooms were very quaint and cozy. Meredith and the staff at the front desk took very good care of us. We would definitely stay here again. Jake’s grill was also fabulous. The hotel is also very close to lots of activities in the city.

  Great boutique style older hotel that has modernized well.

  Great hotel for those who like a boutique style hotel. It is an older building but they have modernized appropriately. The room was gorgeous. The only thing that didn't match was the standard tube/walk-in shower experience we've gotten used to these days, but he size of the room and comfort definitely makes up for it. I'll definitely stay again. GREAT location too. Easy walking to the Pearl and in my opinion, an easy walk to 23rd Street as well. It's a little further (20-30mins walk) but I don't mind and love seeing a city by foot. Waterfront is not far either.

  Amazing experience. Room was amazing. Beautiful view from the balcony, hotel was in the center of everything, was able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. Staff was wonderful and professional.
