This lovely hotel has a huge lobby, a front desk area stocked with reasonably priced treats, friendly, efficient staff and pristine and spacious rooms. Rooms have all the amenities and are quiet. We were very comfortable during our stay. A very short drive to plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Nice, new feeling HGI
14 Aug 2025
Stayed here 1 night in August. Current HIlton Diamond member. Hotel is conveniently located to 195, Trenton airport and other area businesses. Easy check-in. Receptionist at the front desk (Elesa?) was very pleasant and engaging. Had some Otis Spunkmeyer type cookies at the front desk. Nice touch that I don’t normally see at HGI’s. Not as good as the Doubletree cookies, but good enough. Very large/open reception area that flowed into the dining room/lounge. Plenty of space to stretch out and never felt crowded.Fitness center for an HGI was excellent. Larger than the usual HGI fitness rooms, and there were plenty of equipment choices. I would say one of the best fitness centers in this level of hotel. Room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed and a nicely updated bathroom. One of the nicer touches in the bathroom was the placement of the shower controls relative to the shower head. Well engineered for a walk-in shower. A/C unit was a little bit loud and didn’t keep the room cooled enough. Breakfast was fine. Good service but they could have had a few more options for the continental choice. ‘Fruit’ included either an orange or an apple. Only 1 yogurt choice (plain vanilla) and while grits was a nice touch, the toppings were lacking.

Great hotel with limited services
03 Aug 2025
The hotel is in an office park and close to downtown Princeton.I always thought Hilton Garden Inns were a step up. This hotel was very nice and modern. The rooms are spacious and very clean. My disappointment was that the hotel’s policy is that rooms are only serviced every other day unless you request the room to be cleaned. No one advised me of this policy. The other drawback is a hot breakfast buffet is $15.99. The selection of food was minimal and not replenished. The food was mediocre. We were much better off going to a local Wa Wa for a better breakfast at half the price.I was disappointed that the hotel was not inexpensive and the services were so limited.I will think twice before returning to Hilton Garden Inns again.

Great staff but rooms can be noisy
06 Jul 2025
We stayed here for two nights in June while my son was at a Princeton sports camp. The staff here are awesome. All of the staff members I interacted with (front desk, breakfast staff, maintenance, housekeeping) were friendly, service-oriented, professional and helpful. We had to bring our dog with us and they are dog-friendly and were kind to her.We got breakfast with the room and it was a well-run buffet and the space was quite clean. The rooms are tired and in need of an update. The walls are thin and you can also hear noise in the rooms above you. I wound up running a white-noise app on my phone all night because there wasn’t an option to manually run the fan on the a/c. We were so tired the first night, and some of the guests decided to get together right outside our window at about 1:00 am to talk really loudly and smoke weed. The noise and weed smell came into our room. I called down to the front desk and they shut it down right away thankfully.I would come back due to the amazing staff (and the location was good for our needs) but I would definitely ask for a room on the top floor to avoid some of the noise.

Short and sweet visit! Great location, breakfast, customer service !

My 15 year-old daughter and I stayed here for one night so she could attend a lacrosse showcase at nearby Lawrenceville school. I picked this location due to its proximity to the lacrosse event, but was delighted by the customer service, the overall cleanliness, and the spacious room and the breakfast. We had a 2 Queen bedroom, and the bathroom was big enough and nice and bright. The AC worked great, and the gym looked well stocked, although we didn’t have time to fit in a workout, my daughter appreciated the TRX bands and pull up bar. I was happy to get her laundry done there while she was at the event, and the day before her lacrosse, we drove the quick 10 mins to Princeton and walked the cute shops and ate ramen and then also walked around Princeton campus.Everything is close to the Hilton, lots of Açaí and smoothie places, as well as the beloved Cava. The hot breakfast was excellent at the Hilton, I had the breakfast included and had the option of the continental or the made to order hot breakfast. I got the omelette and a side of French toast, side of fresh fruit and extra crispy bacon. It was wonderful, and infinitely better than many continental breakfasts with sad sausage and equally morose red delicious apples in a bowl. Thank you for the wonderful stay! If we are back in the area again I would definitely come again!
