Horrible very bad no good Westin

    rating08 Sept 2026

This is a terrible hotel and Westin should cancel the contract. I’ve been staying here for business for the last 15 years and while it was never great, it used to be passable. While they have refreshed the lobby the rooms are abysmal. Where to start? The bathroom is so dark you need to leave the shower curtain open to see anything. And the shower is backed up so you’re standing in filthy water. The vanity has zero counter space and also no lighting so you’re out of luck if you’re a woman and need to apply makeup. The room is damp. When I came in the air conditioner was barely running and the humidity was very high. It is uncomfortable to sleep in a moist bed to say the least. I’m in a “pura” room but the only difference is a noisy air filter. There is no hair dryer in the room and I’ve been waiting 20 minutes so far for someone to bring me one. I needed a razor but am told they have no razors at the hotel - this is a 10 cent amenity that every hotel has. I didn’t get in until after midnight and had a digital key. The woman at the front desk watched me walk in with my suitcase and head to the elevators. Of course when I got to my room at the very end of the hallway the digital key didn’t work. So I came all the way back down and she said “oh yeah, those don’t work,” and then handed me a set of keys from a box that said “mobile keys.” If you know this is a problem why do you offer them? And why not say something when I walked in? After not getting to bed until 1 I was super unhappy that the lawn below my window was mowed and the leaf blowers were going at 7:20 am. Seriously? Isn’t there a noise ordinance here? This is a clown hotel for clowns who like to shower in the dark and sleep on damp sheets. Westin should be ashamed.

    Horrible customer service

    rating03 Aug 2026

While visiting a friend at the Princeton hospital I called the hotel for a one day outdoor pool pass (as advertised for $30) I continued to get disconnected and ignored on hold various times. If this hotel does not participate the the “hotel resort pool pass” as advertised online they should just be honest and say they don’t have a pass rather than hang up repeatedly and place their phone just with their caller ID option. Once you tell them you’re not staying overnight they hang up.

    Bad hotel - good location

    rating15 Jul 2026

This hotel continues to under-impress. For a hotel that caters to business travelers, they do little to truly accommodate these guests. Spent one night here on business in late June 2026. Chose this hotel due to it’s proximity to my meetings and b/c it is a Marriott Bonvoy property.Check in experience was mixed. Lobby area is being renovated (it greatly needs it), and the small front desk was crowded with guests and representatives. I heard all the details of the other guest’s stay who was standing next to me and vice versa. The front desk did not share any details on the hotel or my Bonvoy status benefits. I asked about the hotel lounge, and their reply was ‘yeah, we have one’. No other details. Lobby bar is tiny - enough seats for maybe 5-7 people max. Too small for a business hotel. Hotel room has not changed since my last stay. The room itself is fine, but it’s also overcrowded b/c of the unnecessary furniture. The bathroom area is just terrible. No room on the sink/vanity for any personal items. It’s also a bit cramped. The toilet/shower room is very large - the hotel engineers need to redesign the bathroom/vanity layout. Enough room there to make a nice bathroom area.Tried to use the club lounge (i have access due to my Bonvoy status). Both keys never worked for the lounge (even though they worked for my room). The lounge looked open (8:00AM on a week day). The only positive for this hotel is the location. The rest of no good.

    Everything is Wet

    rating14 Jul 2026

I stay at this hotel several times throughout the year (work related - we get a corporate rate).Over the last year or so I have noticed something incredibly odd: everything in this hotel is damp….it’s like the humidity is out of control. At this point I have been in rooms on various floors, in various parts of the building, and the one commonality is that everything is wet. The air is wet, the bed sheets feel wet, your clothes (after a day or so) feel wet.Even with the AC on, it makes no difference. To say the least: it’s excruciatingly uncomfortable and sleeping in a moist bed is incredibly uncomfortable and difficult. At this point I will likely forego my company paying for the room and i will just find my own hotel. It’s truly that bad.

    Unsanitary and hot

    rating05 Jul 2026

I don’t usually write reviews but after choosing this spot from many options in Princeton I am advising others against it. Very dirty rooms, lobby, pool. Really did not feel clean or safe for my family with young kids. The AC turned off in the middle of the night and the room became intolerably hot for us all to sleep comfortably. Only saving grace was the bar since we absolutely needed a drink!
