  Great Little Hotel

  Great little hotel! Room was clean, spacious, and well kept. Great view of the mountains. Bathroom was a little small. Breakfast was hot and fresh, with plenty of choices. Julisa at the front desk was great. She was so sweet. My wife and I chatted with her when we first checked in and she remembered us every time we came in and out. Had a very good stay, would highly recommend it.

  I personally stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by the condition of the property. The hotel was not very clean, the pool appeared poorly maintained, and the hot tub was overflowing with water during our stay. The staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, which may explain some of the issues we experienced.What was most concerning, however, was how management handled my mother's attempt to resolve a previous issue. After the hotel had reportedly acknowledged an error with her reservation and offered a complimentary future stay, the General Manager refused to honor that commitment. During the conversation, he accused my mother of damaging a $100 comforter—an allegation that was never mentioned during her stay or at checkout and is completely disputed by our family.Rather than listening to her concerns and having a professional discussion, he was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly interrupted her, making it difficult for her to even explain the situation. Instead of working toward a solution, he chose to make accusations and end the conversation.Hotels make mistakes, but management's response to those mistakes is what defines customer service. Based on my own experience at the property and the way my mother was treated, I would not recommend staying here. We will be contacting Comfort Inn's corporate office regarding this matter and hope they take these concerns more seriously than local management did.If your idea of a relaxing hotel stay includes poor property conditions, unresolved issues, being accused of things you didn't do, and arguing with an unprofessional manager, then this is the perfect place for you. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we were looking for.

  Disappointing Experience From Start to Finish

  I originally chose to stay at this hotel despite reading some concerning reviews because I wanted to give the property a chance. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed many of those concerns.During my stay, the hotel experienced internal computer and reservation issues that resulted in me being incorrectly marked as a "no-show" despite physically staying at the property. Management at the time acknowledged the error and offered a complimentary future stay as a goodwill gesture.When I attempted to redeem that offer, I was informed that new management would not honor the commitment made by the hotel. I reached out to the General Manager hoping to resolve the situation professionally, but instead of working toward a solution, I was met with accusations that I had damaged hotel linens during my stay—an allegation that is completely false and was never raised at the time of checkout.The condition of the hotel itself was disappointing, with cleanliness issues throughout the property. Staff members also appeared overwhelmed and unable to resolve basic reservation and computer-related problems, which is what led to this situation in the first place.What concerns me most is not the loss of the complimentary room, but the way the matter was handled. A professional manager would investigate the history of the reservation, acknowledge the hotel's role in the error, and address concerns respectfully. Instead, I was accused of misconduct and ultimately told I was no longer welcome on the property simply for asking the hotel to honor the resolution that had previously been offered.I was willing to give this hotel a second chance. After this experience, I would not recommend it to others. Customer service, accountability, and professionalism were all lacking.

  Great stay. Clean rooms. Amazing Manager.

  We were there for a few nights and it was a fantastic stay. Early morning breakfast was really fresh and the host Elisabeth was awesome. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Check-in experience was fantastic. General Manager Rob not only let us check-in a few hours early, he made sure we got the right room that suits needs. He was really professional, extremely kind and very smart. Gave some cool tips on hiking around the city. All the housekeepers during our stay cleaned our room really well and made sure we are taken care of like a family. Front desk staff was aptly helpful. Overall, a great stay. will return if we are in town again.

  Clean rooms. Excellent housekeeping staff. Ryan, Lesa, and Angel at the front desk were helpful, personable, and a big part of the enjoyment of our week in SLC.
