    Noisy but nice

    Unless you don’t require much sleep, I would not recommend staying here. The rooms have no sound insulation , you cannot enter or exit the rooms while using the bathroom (if you want privacy) because the barn door is only separating the living area, not the bathroom exclusively. The room was very nicely decorated. Bed was too firm for my liking. Safe had to be reset by employee before use. Phone did not work. Barn door to bathroom would not stay closed because it was hung crooked.     Too much noise to actually sleep at this hotel

    The bars playing into the early hours of the morning does not allow for any sleep. Our room vibrated for hours after we went to bed. My final night of stay, I was woke up at 2:20 am due to the beat of the music! I was told by the staff that sometimes the bars on the first floor of the hotel have karaoke contest in the early mornings.Also was a biker rally and every time you dosed off, a bike would go off and start the process of trying to go back to sleep over the music.     This was a great experience, the hotel staff were friendly knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a different special every day and a cook that took pride in her presentation, deservedly so.Our first trip to Bandera will not be our last. We checked out the neighborhood had a great time.The room was clean and well maintained as was the hotel. The staff went over and above to make our stay great.     Music was so loud we felt vibrated. All you could hear and feel was the deep repetitive beat of the base. Could not sleep until 2a.m. When it finally stopped. Not the place for a good night sleep. The faucet did not drain quickly.     Some good front desk staff. The young man "who loves to smoke pork loin" is super welcoming. Following morning clerk was more interested on being on her phone. Then..wait for it--huge cockroach in the bathroom. Limited hotels to stay in Bandera. Rest assured, we do take action if a little critter is found on the property and immediately report it to our bug service provider through the portal as well as to our maintenance team to find a resolution fast. We are truly sorry that you had to encounter one during your stay. We do have our rooms sprayed monthly, and we try our best at keeping vigilant. We apologize that we fell short in providing you with a better experience. We are also sorry about the staff that was distracted by their phone.
