  Urine Soaked Mattress and Rude Staff

  I booked this hotel based on its positive reviews and reasonable price point, but unfortunately the experience was unacceptable. After arriving in the evening, my party and I settled into the room, had dinner, showered, and relaxed before going to bed. When I finally got under the sheets later that night, I noticed a strong unpleasant odor and moisture on the bedding and my leg. Upon further inspection, it became clear that the mattress had urine on it.I immediately contacted the front desk and requested a room change, only to initially be told that no rooms were available. I explained that if another room could not be provided, I expected a full refund on my prepaid room because I would not be sleeping in a urine-soaked bed.Only after that conversation were we told another room was available.What was most upsetting, however, was the way the situation was handled by staff. The front desk clerk came to inspect the mattress, acknowledged the odor, and then proceeded to tell us we should have reported it sooner. He further implied that it was somehow our fault the room could no longer be rented because we had occupied it for nearly two hours, rather than acknowledging that the room should never have been rented in that condition to begin with or anyone after.While we did appreciate eventually being moved to another room, we also experienced issues with the air conditioner repeatedly disconnecting from the outlet during the remainder of our stay.Overall, the unsanitary condition of the room combined with the dismissive and accusatory response from staff resulted in an extremely disappointing experience.
