  “The absolute worst hotel experience of my life.”

  This is by far the WORST place I have ever stayed in. Honestly, it shouldn’t even be called a “hotel” — it’s more like a run-down, dirty, cheap motel.The elevator doesn’t work, the pool is disgusting and filthy, and everything around looks horrible and unsafe. The bathrooms don’t function properly — the toilet water doesn’t even go down. On top of that, there are cockroaches in the rooms, which makes the place even more unbearable and unhygienic.It’s impossible to sleep because there are always people outside the rooms talking loudly or “repairing” something all night long.To make things even worse, they don’t even allow you to have guests at night. Imagine paying for a room and not being allowed to invite anyone over. Absolutely ridiculous.They also advertise “free breakfast,” but the breakfast room has been closed for months — I later found reviews saying it’s been shut down for at least 5 months. So they are basically lying about services they don’t provide.And forget about TV or internet — there’s no cable, no signal, no WiFi. Nothing works. On top of that, there’s not even hot water. Taking a shower here is miserable.This is the worst of the worst. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this in my life. Instead of making my trip comfortable, this place completely ruined my experience. It was my first time visiting San Antonio, and thanks to this so-called “hotel,” my trip turned into a nightmare.

  not worth the money

  got there 11.30pm..was tired it was near freeway, 84..for 1 bed 1 person, the person had to use his key to let me in, room was nothing fancy bed felt worn out, the top lock was broken used deadbolt, slept had travel 12 hours, woke up at 4am to use bathroom turn lights saw ants in bathroom, then morning saw roaches on sink, told the indian woman at the desk while leaving, she didnt say nothing, like no big deal, never will i stay at quality inn period..not worth the money,

  Pleasantly surprised, room was clean and comfortable,

  We were pleasantly surprised, after we read some of the unfavorable reviews, we hesitated to book this location, but we decided contact Choice hotel on social media, I made them aware of my concerns, They assured me my 3 day stay would be exceptional. We decided to book ,when we arrived and were checked in by Mr, Rick, very nice and helpful. Our room was alright, a bit old, and somethings were worn, but over all clean and comfortable. There was a stained couch without legs, a broken lamp in the corner, the smoke alarms probably need to be replaced, the front door friend was bent, the A/C worked good, a bit musty, I turned the off A/C, sprayed Lysol into the A/C vent then turned it back on, seemed to make it better. The room had a small fridge, microwave, a one cup coffee pot, (we bought our own small 4 cup pot, coffee, creamer, and stevia) Overall it was a good stay, the area was minutes from the Market square, and about a mile from the river walk San Antonio. We would stay there again.

  Worst hotel, Filthy room, poor quality service. Indian lodges are better. No place to keep bags. Pillows, bed, towels also in bad condition. Totally disappointedNot worth for money. Location is also not good.

  BEDBUGS and dirty rooms

  I would never recommend this place to anyone. We stayed 3 nights, 10/12/23-10/15/23. The rooms are not as pictured, they are old and dirty. My father-in-law was covered in bug bites from bedbugs. We notified staff who stated they will notify owners and give a refund but that never happened. We even sent pictures as proof. The hotel is near a train tracks and you can hear trains passing all day and night. The room was old and dingy smelling. There was splatters of what looked like blood on the walls. Just an overall terrible place to stay. I have never stayed at a Quality Inn before this, and I will never again step foot in this hotel or other Quality Inns. Just a terrible, dirty hotel.
