    Cockroaches and disgusting!!!

    Photos look NOTHING like the hotel. Be sure to look at peoples uploaded photos before staying here.Upon arrival, there were homeless people smoking out of a pipe. We went in to the room, turn on the lights are they are flickering like something youd see in a horror movie. The blankets on the bed were torn, the floor was absolutely disgusting, the bathroom was just gross, there was a cockroach under the tv remote, and it REEKED of cigarettes. We took our family to a different hotel and did not even stay there.

    The Deluxe Inn in San Antonio is the most disgusting place EVER! Mold, cockroaches, smoke detector ripped off wall, no ice machine, no tv remote, and when one was delivered, there were 2 fuzzy channels. Paint peeling off all walls and the toilet made me want to vomit. And what hotel chain mandates a $60 cash only deposit per room? They said the gas station next door has an ATM. This place needs to be burned down and start over!     If only it were possible to give negative stars or numbers! This would be the property to start the category! This was part of a package put together with Expedia,. And, although we had stayed at 2 star places before, this does not even deserve ANY stars unless it would be how high on the list of establishments that should be closed down by the local health department! Black mold, mold on the shower head, cockroaches, broken AC unit with mold all over..No organization should have this place on their list - at all! When I decided to check out the next day, they informed me they would have to go and check the room before I could get my cash deposit back. They actually wondered I left the room in a worse shape than I found it?     This hotel is not a 3 star hotel !!!!! This is falsely advertised. The rooms are discusting not clean at all. Spot of blood on pillow, dirty towels, cig burns in comforters. Room #115 Rusted out microwave.     Probably the worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. I would have probably felt better sleeping in my car.Aside from the fact that management was totally unresponsive how can you stay at a place the for all practical purposes "rations out" toilet paper. We had to make numerous trips to the front desk to get a roll of TP. Towels, I guess the 6 of them that they own have to make the rounds to the other guests as trying to get a couple of fresh towels never happened.The place was in such disrepair that you were afraid to touch anything for fear of breaking it further. I'm furious at myself for not reading the reviews of this place prior to booking it.Knowing what I know now, I would have turned down staying there if THEY offered to pay me to stay there. If I could have given this dump a 0 rating I would have.
