Another greedy hotel owner. $5 to park your own car. Got rid of cable and added a REDICULOUS "streaming" system. This is going on in many Hilton properties. They call it "Streaming entertainment." It is listed on the site so you can avoid it. No numbers for regular channels, you have to go one-by-one in alphabetical order. You start over every time to turn it on. Heaven help you if you like TBS!! You have to use your account for any of the streaming channels. I will NOT return.

Hotel needs some electronic updates

This hotel could use some updating of their electronic capabilities. First, there was ONE port for phone charging and ONE electrical outlet on the table between the beds. The electrical outlet was very loose and we had to prop something up against my CPAP machine cord so it wouldn't disconnect in the middle of the night. And that left us with capability to only charge one phone as we couldn't use our multi-port strip in the electrical plug. Self parking is now $5.40 - which were charged even though the policy went into effect after booking the room. We were supposed to park on the access road next to the hotel? All in all, quite disappointing at a Hampton. The hotel is in a safe location and near major highways so that was nice.

Our experience was great. Staff friendly, breakfast was excellent! Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. My suggestion would be high pressure shower heads. We think they were clogged with sediment from the water. Other than that, no complaints. That issue definitely needs addressing. Very close to Lackland BMT Base. Convenient to everything.

I have stayed at this property before (a few years ago) and was disappointed during my recent stay. the staff was perfunctory. The rooms definitely need a refresh. Furniture is old, chipped, stained, and so on. Probably great furniture 10 years ago but it doesn't feel like a Hampton. More like a budget hotel on the side of a road. One other thing. Despite a huge parking lot the property shares with restaurants and other shops, it wants to now charge for parking. Really! (by the way Trip Advisor needs to adjust what it says about parking at this hotel). There are far better hotels nearby.

The hotel staff was nice. The room was clean and beds were comfortable, but a little damp and humid. Had to run the fan continuously. The refrigerator didn’t work and leaked a little and I needed to use it but couldn’t.
