    The best place to stay at in San Antonio, TX by far!!!

    This "home away from home" is awesome! The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need, so clean, so very quiet, so appreciated. Breakfasts are out of this world with a wonderful variety to choose from each morning. The hotel itself is so very comfortable and pleasant, whether you are in the main vestibule or any other area (including the gym and out at the pool). We have stayed here many times in the past and we were there twice in the month of March. I don't think there is anywhere in the greater San Antonio area that is a better bang for your buck. The staff is great! They attend to your every need and always with a smile and kindness. We don't think you could find better employees from the top on down. Erika is an absolute gem, as is Daisy -- there actually wasn't anyone who didn't deserve accolades!

    Big disappointment for Hilton

    The location near Lackland AFB was our reason for selecting this hotel - and we always stay at a Hilton. The hotel obviously has a lot of people to visit family stationed there but it needs some attention. I chose a room when I checked in the previous evening but it was not available so we were given another room. It needed to be cleaned, the bathroom needed serious attention because the glob of caulking around the tub was nasty and coming loose. Floors were worn - baseboards needed painting, overall not a well maintained hotel. The lobby appeared to have been updated more recently than the room we were given. Lighting was not good; check-in desk was never attended while we were there - had to search for assistance. Some were friendly - some not.

    Home away from home

    It really was home away from home. I stayed a whole week to experience my daughter graduating from the Air Force boot camp. Christy Rodriguez and staff took care of all the extra touches especially since it was over the holiday. It was a perfect location in that we could even walk to get groceries or grab a bite but make it to ceremonies within minutes. The hotel atmosphere was peaceful and always kind. The breakfast spread was varied and comparable to Vegas hotels!     Stay away from this liberal junk place. Dog poo stains on the carpet, broken microwave, broken phone, did not clean room, breakfast was not good, CNN blasting in common areas, customer service was very poor. Next to a planned parenthood. Loud and not worth any money. News is put on most days and the remote is left for guests to choose what they'd like to watch. Some days its CNN, other days its Fox News, sometimes it's Sesame Street. There's no agenda here. Further, we can't choose which businesses are our neighbors. You've written a review anonymously, but I'd be more than happy to speak with you directly about your stay because we take customer service and cleanliness very seriously and I find your account of your visit to be out of character for us. We offer housekeeping services daily, the staff consistently get high marks for service, and without knowing your name/room details, I can't research any of the information regarding your stay and our maintenance log for things like phones/microwave, but I'd be more than happy to check and speak with you if you'd like to call.     Wonderful Place for BMT Graduations/Other attractions.

    Clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice area-feels safe. Great buffet breakfast. Nice personnel. Close to things to do-River Walk, Alamo, SeaWorld, etc. Quiet. Near restaurants and stores, Close to Lackland AFB. 1BR with kitchen suite is homey and comfortable. NEED i-room safes, however.
