    Eye opening surprise!

    Before covid, every Homewood Suites in the country had a phenomenal Monday through Thursday evening receptions. Fantastic food and drink with plenty of time to consume it. After covid, Homeward drop down to just Wednesdays. Obviously a new cost cutting measure by Hilton. This Homewood Suites also only offers on Wednesdays, but they have gotten back to pre-covid-style receptions at least. It was fantastic! Good food, good drink, not too crowded and yet very relaxed. It was phenomenal and a throwback to yesteryear. The room was excellent and the staff was super super friendly. I didn't catch his name but my compliments to the assistant general manager. He even gave us some cookies upon check out. Don't expect that everyone! The room was clean the property is in fantastic shape for its age. I can't say how much we enjoyed this day. We have already made a reservation to go back and see them again sometime soon. As a diamond member, when somebody does good, they deserve to get called out.     If you require internet (wifi) at the hotel do not stay here, has been down for 3 days now. They should at least state on their website that its down before you book. I believe they have spectrum as their ISP who we know is trash. Stay at the westin if you need internet or call ahead of time to see if its working.     Bring your own towels, don't expect housekeeping

    Overall, older but recently updated property. Dunno why they didn't reglaze the tubs when they updated- but that explains the unsightly rings around the tub drain. Comfortable beds, quiet, clean room facing the inner pool courtyard. Appreciate the well-lit ample parking with visible cameras outside, Friendlly desk staff, availability of digital check-in, and good room temp control in addition to bedroom ceiling fans. Now for the negatives: there is no running HVAC within the floor hallways or the ground floor common area/ breakfast dining ares. None. When it's 80 degrees outside you will break a sweat and when it's 50 you will freeze while eating breakfast or waiting for the single elevator servicing one half of the property. There also seems to be a shortage of bath towels for the property as a whole. In our 1 bedroom suite for 4-6, housekeeping left a single bath towel for our stay. When we asked the front for 5 more towels, she could find/ provide us with only 4. What in the world? Speaking of housekeeping- they don't. They will enter your suite- open the bedroom door, turn the light on in the bathroom and plug your tub drain. No replenishing of towels, making the beds, or taking out trash. Our property operates on an every-other-day service schedule, but full service must be performed each visit including fresh towels, bed making, and trash removal.     Just okay. Dated and loud outdoor music all night

    The hotel is just okay, but the property feels very dated. It needs a good deep clean, specifically the hallways, walls and carpet. The bathtubs both had staining that looked a bit gross. Also the door to the patio area was disabled during our stay. Visiting the courtyard would require going around the back side of the hotel from where we were. Also the layout is a bit confusing… two sets of elevators and two different sets of floors. If you take the wrong elevator, you’ll need to come back down to the lobby and use the other elevator. Breakfast was okay, but options felt very limited. Also we didn’t see any alternative milks. Hotel staff were all very friendly. We had interactions with the front desk and breakfast staff, and all were helpful and courteous. The location is right next door to an outdoor “ice house.” It’s an outdoor bar that plays music all night long and can be heard very clearly through the thin walls and windows.     Unclean rooms, bathroom and dishware, and rude staff!

    We had to wait for our room because they had trouble with a late checkout. Then the room smelled like dirty dogs-extremely pungent odor! We were transferred to another room but the tub was dirty, kitchen utensils and cups were used/dirty. We had two double beds and the sheets weren't changed and you could see short hairs from an animal or person on the fitted sheet! The hallways were hot and the dark carpet was the dirtiest I've ever seen in the 2 years we've been using this hotel 3 - 4 times a year. It was obvious that the management had changed and not for the better. We've canceled all of our future reservations.
