    Loved the place. Unit had view of the water. Had everything we needed and location was terrific. Been to Carlsbad 5 other times and this was the best accomodations.

    Carlsbad Inn is so great. So convenient to entertainment, dining and the beach. All within walking distance. From a 20 year, 2 unit owner.

    Overall, our stay in Carlsbad was very good and so nice to have it within walking distance to so many places.The mexican restaurant on site was excellant! Staff was so friendly!!

    I cannot fathom how this place has 4.5 stars. The rooms are extremely old and run down, boarderline filthy. The towels were threadbare, AC hardley works and the wifi was out the entire time. The front desk has little to no interaction with you and doesn’t seem to want to. Even the luggage carts were so old they barely moved. This is absolutely more of a timeshare less of a hotel. The pool deck was filthy and had dead cockroaches around it.

    We were with extended family passing a wonderful one week at the resort. Karen H. was very helpful in finding for us two adjacent rooms. Any info we needed she was ready to help. After we left my husband left his jacket in the room. She made it sure that it was safely stored in the office.
