This property is located across the street from the entrance of California's longest recreational pier in active use and right opposite Oceanside Beach. Many of the area's attractions are close by, including places to shop, golf, surf, park and more. Guests will find bars, restaurants, the town centre and Mission Square shops all in the immediate vicinity of the property. Oceanside Museum of Art is close by, as is the California Surf Museum and guests can also visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre and Madame Tussauds Hollywood in the surrounding area. It is conveniently located only 2 blocks from the Amtrak station, within 55 km of San Diego and 130 km south of Los Angeles.

The resort has 128 suites and 30 single rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A safe, a cash machine, a laundry service, a conference room, a business centre, a banquet hall and a smoke alarm are available. Services include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Pleasant Property, but Obstructed by High-Pressure Sales

The resort property itself is well-maintained and provides a pleasant stay. However, the experience is severely compromised by the concierge desk's operations. Rather than serving guests' needs, this desk functions primarily as a hub for persistent, high-pressure timeshare solicitations. These interactions continue even after clear verbal refusals, which creates an intrusive environment. It appears this is a systemic feature of the resort’s management model. While the facilities are of high quality, the aggressive sales culture significantly detracts from the value of the stay.

My wife and I visited Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier a week ago . It is a well maintained , beautiful, safe, resort. The rooms are clean, and it is across the street from the fishing pier. With that being said you have to have a great Team of people to make it a great experience. I would like to thank the Guest Service Agents Sharri, Aaron, Johnathan, Alma , and Maintenance Tech. Thomas. They understand and demonstrate the true meaning of Customer Service and Teamwork. Good job !

No balcony or housekeeping

We booked this room as Diamond members through Wyndham rewards (which was in no way recognized by staff). We booked a standard room, but be aware there is no balcony with this room type. Every other room type has a balcony. We would prefer to have housekeeping daily. When asked to provide this service we were told “housekeeping will not enter your room while you are checked in.” While I can see the benefits from a business perspective, I would encourage Wyndham to see the consumer perspective. We paid good money (along with with use of some reward points) for our room, daily housekeeping should be the standard at this rate…especially when requested. The room was clean, bed comfy, and an abundance of towels. Location cannot be beat!There are gentle reminders that this is a Wyndham chain hotel: no walk in shower, crappy toiletries, etc. but all in all this hotel was not a total disappointment.

Resort by the Pier

We drove in late from out of town. We called ahead to let them know not to give away our room, and they noted that we would be late and they were open 24/7. The valet who also took our bags up was very nice and helpful. Front desk greeted us with a smile. They do have a handicapped elevator with lots of room. The building had a fresh scent and welcome feel to it. Ice cold water on the main level and coffee in the morning.We got a two bedroom condo. It was not accessible, but the six was beyond what we expected.we were able to fit both scooters. It also has two bathrooms and we were able to call down for a shower chair for the walk in shower in the suit. We had an issue with the safe and the jets in the tub didn’t work, but they fixed it quickly when we called. They are all so friendly and helpful and quick. The beds are a little on the firm side, but the space was comfortable. When the windows and doors are closed you can’t hear the outside noise except when the guests are slamming their doors in the halls. The pool is on the second floor and heated but mildly. The hot tub is great temperature with powerful jets. They do have a decent sized gym and nice activities center. Each day they have something different going on by the members desk. It is conveniently located across from the pier, attached to two restaurants, and within walking distance of the markets. The balconies are small, but nice. The chairs are metal so a little uncomfortable. The property was clean. The check out was easy. The valet who picked up the luggage when we left greeted us with a smile. They were both quick and helpful. We do plan to come back.
