    The counter staff gets 4 stars! They were friendly and accommodating. However housekeeping and maintenance-much less. The microwave was useless as we tried to reheat leftovers and it took over 10 minutes to get it lukewarm. Then tried to pop popcorn and had to take it up to the front desk after a terrible attempt with ours. The shower had warmish water and NO bodywash. The knob fell off in the shower. Overall, I would have had a much better experience in an abandoned camper.     One of the nicest hotels in Chula Vista. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent staff, very friendly. Free breakfast was very good, loved the house-made Mexican casserole. The rates are a real bargain. Close to highway, near a fine restaurant. not too far from Chula Vista Mall.     Overall experience during my stay was amazing! From the location, room price, to the check in and check out, I have zero complaints.
