    Loved this place. This is in a quiet area near La Jolla and Carlsbad but so quiet. It's mostly office parks around so it's nice and quiet and tucked away. There's a starbucks across the parking lot, which is convenient. Bed was comfortable and the people at the desk were helpful and friendly.     good place to hang your hat for a night or two.

    Checked in late on a Friday night (regularly 200 bucks) but had choice points so just $12 bucks, for business the next day.The lobby is clean and modern, like the Hampton Inns. Welcome bag consisted of lays chip bag, 7up can and spring water in a fancy bottle. Hey, count every dollar these days that's a $15 value when you include the two bottles of water in the room.The rooms are a bit dated in terms of walls, shower etc. but no dealbreakers. Towels are awful, bring your own. Shower pressure good, and the most important thing the mattress isnt some standard crappy quicksand squishy lump of crap; its actually nice and firm, what all hotels should be.Parking is $10 bucks but waived due to handicap placard; plenty available around the lot. Theres a Starbucks and jersey mikes within walking distance (2 minutes).Breakfast was standard for these typa places; premade scrambled eggs, crappy sausages, waffle station, bagels, bread, oatmeal, bananas and apples, cereal mafia brands, and breakfast potatoes. Its passable lets leave it at that, this aint the Ritz Carlton so thats ok..opens at 6am and people are there already; SMFH.Did the job, just one star down for the terrible room view was given facing a cement wall that you can actually climb out from your room window...only to see another cement wall and noisy generators. The A/c in bathroom wouldnt turn off, and the A/c units are loud. Open the window and its loud from the machines. So pick your poison there.     Caution: Dog-Friendly, But Not Guest-Friendly When Dogs Bark

    We were woken up early in the morning by a dog barking continuously. I called the front desk, and although they assured me it would be addressed, the barking went on for 45 minutes. When I followed up, I was told a guest had left their dog unattended and that, by policy, staff could not enter the room until a full hour had passed. Travelers should be aware that this hotel allows dogs, and if one is left alone, staff will not intervene quickly to stop the disturbance.     Our room was clean, beds were comfy and staff was nice. Glad there was a restaurant on site and still open when we got here late in the evening. Food was good too.
