    Terrible experience.

Door had gap at the bottom that we had to be filled with towels. Elevator dirty with vomit on the floor. Garbage on the landing. The room smelled like bug spray.

The rooms are great, good beds, and bedding, big flatscreen TV.

Great place to stay in Mission Valley San Diego. Close to the snapdragon Stadium and SDSU. Nice room layout with hardwood floors. California King beds. Full kitchens and big flatscreen TVs. Some rooms are better than others, but if you are a Winner Rewards Member the odds are with you.Nice pool at Auto bar too, almost tropical.

Really nasty, we booked a room thinking it would be clean to only look up at the ceiling and there was a pad on it! sadly do not recommend.

Absolutely Unacceptable Stay — Health Hazard and No Accountability

    rating12 Oct 2025

Absolutely Unacceptable Stay — Health Hazard and No AccountabilityI recently stayed at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had while traveling.**Night One:** I specifically requested a non-smoking room. When I opened the door, I was immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. The hotel was sold out, so there were no other rooms available to switch to. I decided to tolerate it for one night, assuming things couldn’t get worse. Spoiler: they did.**Night Two:** Around 1:00 a.m., loud talking started directly outside my door. I opened it and politely asked the guests to quiet down—they apologized, and I went back inside. Twenty minutes later, the noise started again and grew even louder. When I checked again, I realized the commotion was coming from my direct neighbors and the room next to them. They told me that the pipes in their rooms had burst and that their floors were under about 3 inches of water. One guest even said, “Yours is probably next, so you better get everything off the floor.”I moved my belongings off the ground and tried to sleep, but it was impossible with the noise and chaos. Then, at **3:20 a.m.,** I heard the sound of a **saw cutting through the wall we shared.** A saw. At 3:20 in the morning.I finally packed up my things, stepped through a hallway **covered in water mixed with feces**, and went to sleep in my car.To make matters worse, the owners have repeatedly denied my request for a refund, citing a “no refund policy.” Are you kidding me? What about the policy to provide guests with a **non-smoking, safe, and sanitary room** where they can actually rest?I booked this through Hotels.com and even THEY tried to get me a refund...but to no avail. This hotel failed on every possible level — safety, cleanliness, and basic human decency. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
