  Here is where I would have left but I was already tired from driving all day and I had a wedding to go the next day so I didn't want to look for another hotel but the room that I got was just awful! There was a smell that I believe was coming from the restroom in the room and it smelled pretty bad as if it was the drainage or something but the entire room smelled bad. Like I said before normally I would have asked to be changed rooms but I just wanted to lay down for the day and just sleep since I just drove from Vegas down to San Diego and then back up to Vista for the room. I ended up going to get an early dinner and to walmart to get some febreeze to mask the smell and a disinfecting to sanitize the room because I just didn't feel like the room was clean due to the smell. There was a ton more issues as I stayed for the weekend the bathtub looked awful as well as if it wasn't cleaned but it was prob just stained either way it was not a good sight to see, one of the towels provided in the bathroom had hair on it and the entire room looked in a poor state, the light next to the bed was loose so if I bumped my hand on it to turn the lights off it was just sorta spin and almost fall off. The AC unit looked like it had a wire sticking out of it and on the floor, I'll include pictures but the room itself was just not worth what I paid. Again I know I should have just left but I was just exhausted and I wasn't going to be in the room for much time anyways as when I arrived it was already the afternoon and I slept pretty early and the next day I just went out to do my thing at the beach and come back clean up and wedding time. Oh and while I was packing to check out the morning of, I saw a roach... I think it was from outside as the doors itself had a pretty big gap on it to where I believe it might have squeezed its way in but still I was not happy about seeing a roach walking on the floor.   Please don’t even consider staying at this location, it is a drug and homeless vacation land and it is disgusting. They do not have breakfast and there is no luggage cart. Also the room we stayed in did not have a clock or coffee maker.

  Sadly, the owners have compromised the Wyndham quality. The room was not up to par. The bathroom jams were weathered and broken. Water pressure was a trickle and very low hot water. Mini fridge door would not close properly because the freezer was packed with ice. TV did not have one single local news channel to check weather and news nor a list to show what channels were available. Urine was next to the stairwell, close to my door. Homeless came during breakfast and took large plates of food set aside for paying customers, as well the homeless at 5am foraging through the trash cans for cans and bottles. The doors need to be better weather sealed; there was large gaps, you can wind. I hope you take these recommendations to heart.

  It was worth the buck. The only thing i have to complain about were the weekend rates. They more than tripled in one days difference. Another issue is have is that I never received any points for this stay. Other than that is the best rate at that quality you'll get anywhere.

  Check in agent was not friendly at all, she could hardly be bothered to check me in. Do not count on the "breakfast." I went down at 6:40 am and I was told that they were out of most everything. No coffee. Ice machine was "out of order." Room was disgusting. The entry barely shut and there was a huge gap letting a beam of light through and whatever else wanted to come in! Patched areas on walls not painted, shower was so gross I couldn't bring myself to get into it. The bedside lamp was hanging sideways as it was broken. Some of the charging ports did not work. Overall a gross, old, run down place. The "remodel" they apparently did was shoddy and that is being kind. I wanted to ask for a late checkout and phoned the front desk from 6 am to 9 am and no one would answer. Save your money and sleep in your car in a Wal-Mart parking lot--I didn't get to shower anyhow...
