Everything you would expect for a doubletree hotel. Rooms were clean, location is great and walking distant to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Food at hotel was what you would expect, however the server Charles was amazing and above and beyond. Highly personable and attentive. Made this a much more positive experience to what would have been just an ordinary visit to a hotel. I had a wonderful experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed the nice pool area. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was also a great convenience.A special thank-you to Jesus, who was extremely helpful and made my stay even better. we found all the staff at Doubletree Hilton in Mission Valley, particularly well trained, and capable of making our stay more like a five star hotel, especially Miguel, Marguerite, Elizabeth, and Marianne in the breakfast restaurant.The swimming pool and the weight room and locker room were also exceptionally clean and well attended to by staff.Thank you, Doubletree Hilton at Mission Valley, San Diego for a wonderful long weekend for the model railroad train convention.
