Disgusting!! How is it possible that this facility is still in operation? Blood stain on floor and bed, furnitures are completely destroyed and bed has spring coming out. For $300 a night!!

Overpriced due to location next to UCSD in La Jolla. Rooms are old and slightly run down. Breakfast is lacking. Service below average. $46 for parking is a pure rip off. $20 destination fee is a joke and another money play. The hotel was filled with tons of loud and rude kids. They were running up and down the halls all day and night. Parents were not watching them at all and the staff didn’t seem to care. THERE IS NO SHUTTLE SERVICE. We asked to take the shuttle serval separate occasions and they claim to always be busy even though the driver and the van were parked in front of the hotel. Front desk told us the driver was available till 9 pm. The driver said he was only working till 5 which was clearly not true because his manager at the front told us we was on till 9 and should be able to take us. The whole situation was sketchy. Rooms are old and worn out. Pillows were paper thin. Shower was super gross and looked dirty. Breakfast was good but packed and really loud. Disappointed for an Embassy Suites

We love Embassy Suites! However, this one was a bit disappointing. It really needs some TLC. Couches have vinyl missing all over the arms, chairs are stained, carpet is stained. It feels old with the popcorn ceiling. On the positive side, the employees have been accommodating and friendly! We LOVE that they clean the rooms daily, have a made to order breakfast, and offer the free evening reception (though this location's window of time seemed on the shorter side.) I wouldn't recommend staying here due to the dirty feel. We'll wait for a refresh before considering it again.
