A clean comfortable room with friendly staff and such a convenient location for staying in the Rancho Bernardo end of San Diego! It is a quiet location with ample parking. Easy to navigate back to the Interstate for further California traveling. Close to shopping and some restaurants too. LOVED the hotel bar happy hour with good prices for appetizers and snacks!

They said could not find our reservation through TripAdvisor and we weren’t in their system. The lady at the desk told me to call TripAdvisor and didn’t even offer to help.

Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms. Got in late and was given great tips on where to get a bite to eat. Breakfast was great. Chris made the best french toast and sausage i've ever had at a HGI.

The guest service at this hotel was outstanding! Sarah went above and beyond by helping me print coloring photos for my son such a thoughtful and helpful gesture. Kalen, Lupe, Monty and Stephanie were all extremely kind and professional, and Yaravi was wonderful as well. Everyone made us feel welcome and truly cared for. Exceptional service all around!

Like other reviewers, I question why guests are charged $15 per day to park when there is plenty of available parking. We stayed on the bottom floor and heard many people running constantly on the floor above us. Shower needed to be redone as it was chipped and stained. Three pictures are attached. This hotel is not worth a nightly charge of almost $300.
