Location

This centrally located hotel is near to many major San Diego area attractions. The property is just a short walk from Carlsbad State Beach. The Carlsbad Premier Outlets are just 2 km away and it is just 3 km to Legoland. San Diego Zoo and Sea World are both about a 30-minute drive away and San Diego Airport is some 35 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 11 suites, 49 single rooms and 65 double rooms located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Overall, was not impressed with this place. The TV would not work and the response for assistance was horrid. Having you call over and over. I asked Later for another room because of my dissatisfaction, hoping the other room would liven up the stay, yet the same thing TV wouldn’t work, drawers left opened and non sliding curtains. The staff were even worse containing the don’t give a ____ appearance verses concern. Only my walks to Ralph’s made my day near that vicinity and the workers there were nicer. I will never deal with Holiday Inn in Carlsbad again overpriced , sour workers and overrated.     The rooms were average, the pool area was small, which was fine, but there were very few chairs so people had to stand. My main issue was that I left my jacket in the front area. I called and was told they found it and would send a code so it could be sent to me. It never came. I called back. Same issue. I called a third time and the lady said, in a condescending tone, she would talk to the other receptionists and get back to me and don’t worry. We won’t forget you.     Everything was very clean what was expected. Breakfast was included was very good. Great service. Close to the freeway with no freeway noise. I will be back again!!😅🙋❤️ Close driving to the beach in Carlsbad California. Must have 200 characters in a review. This part I don't like!!!! This is why I won't do it again or do Surveys!!😡🥵
