Polyester Included, Electricity, Not So Much

    rating10 Aug 2025

We were visiting Granny's Attic, an antique mall a couple blocks away and needed a place to stay. We booked a handicapped suite with a roll-in shower. They let us check in an hour or so early. There was a king bed and a pull-out sofa bed. It also had a small kitchenette with a microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and sink, no stove nor oven. My wife was happy with the king sized bed, I slept on the sofa bed, the mattress was super thin, but I don't have much experience with one of these, so maybe it's typical, but it sure seemed thin. It had no bed clothes, so I had to make the bed from scratch. The sheets for both beds were polyester, good polyester, but polyester none the less. I expected better from a place like this.A.c. and internet were fine, standard WiFi was free, but they wanted more money for the premium speed or a membership in their frequent traveler membership. The free WiFi served us well, I watched You Tube all night without interruption. The most annoying thing were the electrical outlets. Both my wife and I sleep with CPAP machines, and, while there were plenty of outlets, power was inconsistent. We both woke up when our machines power was interrupted.I this the jacks were loose but I can't say for sure, very annoying.Breakfast was included and served until 9:00, I arrived at about closing , there were still a few item left. It appeared that it was pretty nice before closing.Handicapped parking was adequate. Chris Johnson, Owner at Home2 Suites by Hilton Temecula, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We truly appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us continue to improve our service and amenities. We’d like to explain that while we do not keep burner tops directly in the rooms, we have a variety of burners, pots, and pans available at the front desk. These items are always available upon request, and we’re more than happy to provide them at any time during your stay.To better serve our guests, we’ve now placed extra linens—including sheets, pillows, and blankets—in the cabinet of the dresser in each room to ensure the sofa bed is comfortable and ready for use. Of course, our team is also available to provide any additional linens upon request. We’re sorry to hear about the issue with your CPAP machine. Our rooms are equipped with motion-sensor energy-saving systems, and unfortunately, if devices are plugged into the motion-controlled outlets, they may lose power after a period of inactivity. For continuous power, we recommend using the non-motion-controlled outlets, and our team is always available to assist with locating these.Your feedback has been shared with our team as we continue to explore ways to improve the functionality and convenience of our in-room features.Thank you again for choosing Home2 Suites by Hilton Temecula. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a more seamless and enjoyable experience.

Does the Home2 Suites concept well

    rating25 May 2025

A handful of reviews made us a tad wary, but we needed to be in the area for a wedding, and had good experiences with Home2 hotels in the past. We had a very good 3 nights here. Brytney at the front desk was friendly from the get-go and always found ways to make our stay better. Our room was clean, spacious, and already at a cool temp when we arrived. We had work space, dining space, dressing space, chilling space. Home2 provides a wide array of amenities at an adequate level. Nothing fancy or inspired, but quite good for the price. Breakfast was the same everyday and not spectacular but it made sense to offer things that appeal to the widest audience given the budget they're working with. The mini-market downstairs was handy for snacks and water. They're hotel convenience priced at $4 for a bottle water but that was fine, we need a lot of water. Plus AMEX Surpass credits worked there. Only negatives are that the walls are thin, and the location is not walkable to anything. Google maps suggested a walking route to restaurants, but it was impossible due to stroads and highways. We had to backtrack and drive.Overall, it's what you expect from a Home2 Suites, clean and functional.

Go elsewhere. Dirty & smells like a rabbit hutch

    rating24 Feb 2025

Go elsewhere. Have stayed here 4-5x over the past 16 months, it's gone downhill a little bit each visit and this most recent visit will be our final visit to this hotel. The property is not being maintained well, they need fresh paint and to clean the carpets and put spot remover on the furniture The rolling office chair in our room was very dirty. AND BETTER HOUSEKEEPING. They allow pets, so some rooms smell like a rabbit hutch. All of that and then a bunch of free running kids in the gym while their parents did laundry... no thanks. I'll take my Hilton business elsewhere. When management refreshes the property they should splash that news all over

    Don’t stay here

    rating09 Jul 2024

This hotel is mismanaged. I checked into my room and the bathroom was filthy. (See photos). There was hair all over the bathroom. Soap scum. And stains. And residue in the shower from whoever last showered. Brown ring in the toilet. Ridiculous. I complained and was given a second room. It was the same as the 1st. I was given a 3RD ROOM. It was the same as the last 2. The 3rd room which was the least dirty had grease stains on the table where someone had eaten. Hair in the bathroom. Soap scum on the shower and stains on the couch. This place is gross, and the rooms aren’t cleaned apparently. I wanted to leave a “do not disturb sign” so nobody came in my room during my 3 day stay but there is no sign in the room. The “cleaners” came in the room today and made the bed and did nothing else; left simple trash like the soap packaging on the bathroom sink and an empty container on the table. The bathrooms are gross and obviously not being cleaned so what else isn’t being done/cleaned. I have travelled all over the country, stayed in hundreds of hotels and never experienced hotel bathrooms and rooms that were so obviously not clean. Ridiculous.
