    Stay here at your peril

    I have never stayed in a place like it. Very run down, nothing like the photos. The taps in the bathroom ran all day & night. They wouldn't turn off. The toilet cistern filled up with water constantly, and mostly didn't flush. The room was damp and smelt musty. All but one member of staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. The worst of it was the had builders in doing work. They worked day and night. Banging, drilling constantly, so I got little sleep. When I complained, I was told they had to work nights to get things ready for their guests. They didnt recognise I was one one of them! They refused me a refund so I could find a better hotel because I had pre booked and paid in full via Booking.com, and not direct with them. Other guests arrived and left straight away because it was so bad.

    Avoid Decrepit Days Inn with no heat and electrical failure

    Reserved for San Diego location with breakfast we quickly learned the "chef" quit and no breakfast. Outside the paint is peeling and looks decrepit. The elevator floor is filthy and cracked open with filthy windows. The room two queen beds as promised , clean. Cold in San Diego with temperatures down to 40degree F. heater blew the fuses and lights within 10 minutes of turning on. Staff came and reset the "breaker". Blew again. After three dangerous blowing of the circuits and lights n ow we were in nighttime. No other room available as we were booked for 3 nights. No options. Gave us extra blanket We got symptomatic hypothermia. Sick overnight. Went to car to get warm. In morning we survived. Finally clerk agreed to move our room while we were out touring San Diego. WE were assured hotel would compensate us for a disgusting room and no heat in 40 degree weather. Manager never came to work in the next three days. No one could compensate us. Contacted Wyndham which did nothing. Manager never responded to texts to hotel. Manager not at hotel in multiple attempts after leaving to contact. This is a accident waiting to happen. Sidewalks and paths are irregular and trip hazards. The blowing of circuits is afire hazard with loss of lights an added trip hazard. travelers should avoid this danger filled location of Days Inn.

    Was checked in by Alex he helped us with an extra blanket. Saw Marco in the morning for a packaged breakfast he was nice. I came down in the evening to grab some green tea and chatted with Auora. All three were friendly and nice. This was such a nice stay.

    Decent downtown stay

    Decent stay at best, but great and safe location. Within walking distance to downtown, rooms looked updated and more modern than the pics I saw online so that was pleasant surprise, plus no carpet. Only thing I’d really complain on is the pillows are terrible, and the shower had low water pressure. Wasn’t a bad stay overall, I’d just say they need some improvements. But it’s a safe area compared to others. Also parking is not free

    My wife and I prepaid and booked for 2 nights, when we arrived on Dec 1 the hotel mgr required an additional 100.00$ deposit for security as well as 20.00$ per night parking fee that wasn't disclosed till we showed up. They advertised a free breakfast that was cancelled due to the cook having covid. We went to our room and found the heat was not working and the night time temperature was in the 40's so we requested another room with heat but they said none was available so our choice was take it or leave it but we would have to pay for the room for 1 night and parking. We left that night and highly advise all future customers to seek accommodations elsewhere. Everything about this place was crooked and no good!
