  Would not recommend. High price - not mentioned is hotel has majorconstruction so property is not attractive snd not appealing. Bathroom sink faucet falling off. Worst is they have weddings / so loud with music/talking/screaming very very noisy and disruptive.   What a disaster! A very disappointed long-time guest.

  They do not have an elevator. So not only do you need (and hope to be able to find) help, but it is very bad on your knees and back. You are not here to hike, but to relax. There is no restaurant, this should have been mentioned. There is no room service. The underground parking that used to be there no longer exists and you must valet for $45 a night. Upon booking and paying, you receive an email saying by the way we have massive construction. Well, I woke up every morning to the sound of drills, not the ocean waves. I would walk out of my room and see construction and I hear it from my bedside window. All of this needed to be mentioned BEFORE booking, BEFORE making your travel plans, and certainly BEFORE paying. As a long time guest of this hotel, I am so disappointed to what it has come to, I did not enjoy my two days there and the balcony was tiny, it can not possible be called ocean view (especially when comparing it to the ocean view rooms they had before). they completely restructured and redesigned the hotel, which should have been disclosed. Jazmin and Cedric tried their best to help with my shock and luggage, but I paid a lot of money for a premium holiday at what used to be a premium hotel only to be very disappointed. Expedia, you can do better. We do have elevator service in both our Pines and Shores buildings; accommodations without elevator access are specifically identified as “Stair Access Only” on Expedia. While we have never operated a restaurant or offered room service, Parakeet Café remains open adjacent to our lobby. Many of our room types are identified as newly renovated, and all rooms sold as ocean view do provide ocean views, although layouts and balcony sizes vary. We understand your frustration regarding the construction; for Expedia reservations, we send notification immediately after booking so guests are aware of the project and, when their reservation terms allow, have the opportunity to cancel.   While the staff was helpful and professional, the accommodations were challenging. We were texted that our room was ready at 8 am. When we arrived, we were told the room would not be ready until 11 am. (Same with our friends/family who were checking in for our daughter's wedding). Other issues: continual issues with air conditioning/ No cold water from bathroom sink /In-room coffee maker did not work/In-room fridge froze all our food, and everything had to be thrown out./Toilet running for over a full day and continual requests to get it serviced / no hooks in bathroom/ placement of shower soap and shower head doused hair without wanting to/ only one elevator to service hotel guest in addition to over 100 wedding guests. Did not expect this for a room that was $750 per night.   Unbeatable location & amazing staff!

  We stayed here for a wedding at the rooftop which made our stay very convenient. Only one elevator in our building and we were all going to the wedding at the same time so we had to wait a few minutes. The views are breathtaking! Great staff that’s accommodating and warm. Unbeatable location. We woke up to a view of sea lions playing every day. We stayed in a spacious, modern room that was very clean and had a very comfortable bed and pillows. I’m a light sleeper so little things like comfy, clean bed and pillows are very important to me. We loved it.
