Location

This hotel enjoys a prime waterfront location on San Diego Bay, between the San Diego Convention Center and Seaport Village, and offers a resort-like setting with shopping, entertainment and dining at Seaport Village just 1 minute away. The hotel is located in the downtown area close to San Diego Zoo, Sea World(r), the historic Old Town and Balboa Park. Guests will find golf, tennis and beaches nearby, as well as links to the public transport network (San Diego MTS in the immediate vicinity). The sea is a couple of minutes away and Coronado Beach is a 20-minute walk. Other attractions in the surrounding area include USS Midway Museum (10-minute walk) and Legoland.

Facility

The holiday village welcomes guests in a 40-storey building with a lift and 1628 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. The wide range of activities offered at the holiday village ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and golf. With water aerobics and aquafit available, the complex also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, billiards, darts, squash, aerobics and handball. The wellness area features various facilities, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The complex also offers special catering options.

    The location is absolutely beautiful. It's within walking distance to several attractions -- food, grocery store, shops, comedy clubs, lots of downtown spots. The views are amazing! We had a room with a view of the water which also included cityscape views as well. It was great!

    Very spacious modern hotel. Very friendly however having only Sally's as breakfast option with only buffet available seemed very limiting if you only want an a la carte egg and coffee.

    Beautiful remodeled hotel. Top of the Hyatt was excellent. No satisfactory breakfast resturant, as current one under construction.

    Very modern rooms with great views, attentive housekeeping, and level of service expected at Hyatt. Big pool and play area, nice gym with array of equipment and views of the harbor. Very clean rooms and facilities, walking distance to Gas Lamp, Seaport Village and trail, and convention center.
