    "Damaged Towel" Scam!

    READ BEFORE YOU BOOK! I left Porto Vista happy and planning to return, but after checkout they charged my card $136.23 for alleged “property damage” due to stained towels. The marks were from normal makeup and hair products.What concerns me most is that other reviews report similar towel charges, suggesting this may be an ongoing practice. The towels themselves were low quality and certainly not worth anywhere near the amount charged.If you stay here, bring your own towels or be ready to pay over $100 for them! Also take photos of everything before you leave and carefully monitor your credit card statement afterward.

    This location was perfect close enough to freeway and good food but not close enough to get caught in too much traffic. The staff was also very nice, but this hotel needs a lot of work. The bathrooms are dangerously designers and very humid poorly ventilated room. With no phone which was concerning for me. The shower also has an extremely backed up drain. It looks like a motel 6 with cool art and valet. With how the place looks it is questionable there is a rooftop bar or pool. For what I paid it’s ok, and if you’re the type that the hotel doesn’t matter this is the place for you but other than that the hotel is ok

    Visiting San Diego walked into this bar, our bartender D dreads very friendly and welcoming had a great time very nice drinks as well
