  Musty room with a "view"

  28 Jun 2026

Was "upgraded" to a Bayview room that had a view of the stairwell which was covered in pigeon droppings. Had a water bug roach crawl on me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping in bed. Had tried to price match after booking but was denied since they couldn't find the price at the link I provided. So I sent a screenshot with timestamp taken after the response to show it was available. That was denied since you don't accept screenshots. Never will stay at a Ramada by Wyndham hotel again!

  07 Jun 2026

Disgusting hotel. The windows were replaced on the 9th floor with ones where the frame was 2 in smaller than the opening and they didn’t use caulking around the frame so wind and noise blew through. The sheets were stained on not cleaned. The bathroom ceiling was filled with mold. The shower curtain rod was rusted. The ceramic on the tub was mostly gone and stained so badly that they couldn’t clean it. I felt robbed, no value could make up for this, the room was $198 per night. Stay away from this hotel. You get what you pay for.

? 1.5 ? at best? We had a 'remodeled' room on the 5th floor? The floor was VERY dirty, more so in the bed area. If barefoot, you could feel the grime.? $15/DAY PARKING FEE? Sheets were clean.? NO BEDBUGS [always a +]? Upon arrival, there was only 1 set of towels - I was lucky... housekeeping was 2 doors down? NO free breakfast? Refrigerator worked, tiny coffee maker did not...didn't try the microwave.? Did not see prostitutes, addicts or homeless people loitering about, but they ARE in the area.? Manager on duty at check-in was not the greatest, but I've dealt with worse.? No blankets, just 2 top sheets provided... but frankly, if you run cold, adjust the thermostat.? Google 'National City, California...it's not Martha's Vineyard...don't expect a lot of fluff and fancy. It was a cheap room near San Diego.? I think the hot H2O came from a different zip code, but it eventually got to us.
