    A ‘Clean Sheet’ at the Sorrento Mesa

    Son and I were in Miramesa for a soccer tournament over Memorial Day weekend and needed a place to stay. We didn’t want to be too far from the tournament, so we chose this hotel. We weren’t looking for or expecting a lot amenities. Just a comfortable bed in a clean room with quiet surroundings. Our stay checked all three boxes. We didn’t take a svitz in the very small pool. We didn’t partake of the morning complementary breakfast, but that’s okay. The hotel gave us exactly what we needed. On top of that, we got great customer service from Michele and the team. I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel if we were visiting Miramesa again for a soccer tournament. Thanks y’all.

    Wonderful Return Visit | Until Next Time

    Just returned from an excellent stay at the Sonesta ES Suites. First time back in four years, when I had stayed there for an extended stay while under going treatment at the nearby cancer treatment center. This place holds a special place in my heart for how management went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during medical treatment. I revisited this week under happier circumstances, and it was wonderful. Recent hotel renovations are done! Room/suite accommodations are clean and expansive for those who prefer to a stay in a place that feels like a home away from home. Love the kitchenette. The first floor common area and outdoor patio are great for meet-ups and planning your day's outings. Thank you Skip, Miranda and Michelle for the warm welcome back.

    Our stay was fantastic. The rooms were much more outfitted and stylized than other more expensive hotels I've used before. The shining star was the staff, specifically Skip. He was very welcoming and all around an awesome guy. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

    We stayed for 6 weeks while my husband received treatments at the California Protons Cancer facility. During an earlier visit for scans and tests we stayed at the nearby Hyatt House because we thought we wanted a balcony. It faced towards the other rooms and never got any sun so luckily we booked the Sonesta for our long stay. Skip at the front desk is attentive and eager to please. The room was quiet and well appointed. All renovations are complete. We enjoyed the pool the first week but unfortunately the heater broke after that. All attractions, Zoo, Old Town, were a quick 20 minute drive and most of all the Cancer Center was an easy 5 minutes away. Because we were told to eat well during treatments we stopped at Robeks for fresh pressed juice after each treatment. Lots of restaurant choices, some within walking distance but we mostly ate in. I suggest, if staying for a long time, to purchase a ROKU device for the TV which allows a broader channel selection. We had a nice stay.

    I stayed at Sonesta for a night as I flew in briefly for an interview! Skip and Michelle were so kind. Highly recommend staying here! (The beds and pillows are comfortable too)!! Will definitely stay here again if I return to San Diego, and hope to stay longer!
