  Cons: Room was dirty. Was accused of having a pet in the room because I found dog hair all over the bed and requested new sheets. (Imagine being allergic and getting a pet designated room.)The neighbors in the back have loud dogs. City decided to start shredding trees across the street and trash got all over the cars parked in the front.Pros: The pier is really close and there are a few good restaurants walking distance.

  Absolutely never again!!! My husband drove almost 7 hours for an event in IB and I had a lot of correspondence with management via text due to their "touchless" policy. I was assured that at 4pm the room number and code would be available and the room would be ready for check in. At about 4:15pm my husband arrives and as he approaches the room he sees that a family, appearing to possibly be homeless were in the room and the room was destroyed and disgusting. After three to four texts I finally had someone call me back. She was very apologetic and explained that the housekeeper had let them in and the sheriffs were called to remove them as they did not want to leave the premises. The room then had to be cleaned again and the housekeeper that had left had to be called to return. 6:30 is when the room was finally available and the code did not work, another three to four texts back and forth. I was told it would be spotless... that was definitely not the case. There was dirt everywhere, the room is rundown and needs numerous repairs. To top it all off- next morning, no hot water for a shower. For all of the inconveniences we will supposedly have 10% returned to us and check out time was extended by one hour.

  While the location was convenient and the room was reasonably clean, my overall experience at the hotel was quite disappointing. I completed the pre-check-in link they sent, as they warned that failure to do so would prevent me from receiving the access code. However, when I arrived at the door with my child and all of our belongings, the code still didn’t work. When I called the number provided, they informed me that they had sent another link requesting a deposit, which I found confusing since this wasn't communicated at the same time as the check-in link. As a result, I ended up waiting outside the door for a while, trying to join an important work related Zoom meeting while waiting for them to lift the hold.Once they finally granted me entry, I discovered that the Wi-Fi in the room wasn’t working. While they offered to fix it, this was two hours after my check-in and request for assistance with the wifi issue, and by then, the meeting was already over. Additionally, I encountered another issue: the adjoining door to the neighboring room was paper-thin. At 4:30 in the morning on the day before Thanksgiving, the guests next door were playing their music loudly, making it impossible for us to sleep. Attempts to call or text the number given for urgent issues were pointless at this hour as they never replied, leaving us to endure the excessive noise just when we needed rest before the holiday gathering.To make things worse when I finally spoke to a live person after the loud music on the first night she said the manager was going to refund the first night but "because I wrote a bad review now he's not going to do so. Because a bad review is bad for business." Not only that, now it's the second night at 4:21 a.m. Music is playing once more same neighbors. She said she talked to them and explained the policy the first night. Clearly that was not effective. These people should have been removed after the first violation.Shoddy business practices all around.

  Hello, My name is CorindaOur family has been coming here for 10+ yrs. and we love it! Recently remodeled and looks great!Reasonably priced for the location and excellent customer service. Thanks Mary!Stones throw from the beach! Stunning sunrise and sunset!I.B. Pier a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.Variety of restaurants from frugal to fancy.Wonderful laid back atmosphere.Plenty of attractions and activities within a half hour drive time.Such as:Pacific Coast living reserveSD museum of art.The Midway floating museum Schooners and sailing vesselsShopping, shopping, shopping!Looking forward to going back soon!

  The Motel (Which it is) was built in the 60"s and thru the decades they have installed some foam mattresses and some pillows however the rest of the unit is very old and shows it. the floors were all cracked and filthy. Pics are outside the unit door
