The hotel is nestled in Mission Valley, minutes from San Diego attractions, including the San Diego Zoo.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 39 junior suites, 39 suites, 274 single rooms and 687 double rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Film lovers are sure to find just what they're looking for in the cinema's listings. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a car hire service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The pool complex guarantees comfortable swimming with its 3 pools and pleasantly heated water. There is also special swimming area just for little ones. Thrills on the waterslide, refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a soothing soak in the hot tub – the pool area has a little something for every state of mind and body. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers cycling/mountain biking. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and table tennis. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy an entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A delicious breakfast provides energy for the rest of the day. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The resort also offers special catering options.

    The is a lovely hotel for families, Jessica at the front desk was awesome and very accommodating and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate are larger family. Check in was a breeze, and all the employees were friendly. I highly recommend this place, we will be making this a go to location.     Inattentive Staff and Overcharge

    Attention meeting planners and family travelers: Avoid this resort. As avid family and frequent business travelers I cannot overstate the INCOMPETENCE or outright EXTORTION inherent in our experience here. The accounting department is either non existent or fraudulent. We traveled to Town and Country for a medical meeting and extended our stay to include family vacation days. When charged twice for the same room, we assumed a simple error and attempted to resolve it amicably by phone and with our receipts. After more than 15 phone messages which ALL went unanswered and unattended to by their "off site accounting" we have no choice but to resolve via a dispute through our credit card company. No one from this resort will answer our calls OR return messages despite offering all manner of contact information. Also, take note that on their own Resort webpage there is nowhere to leave a review, nor was I offered any kind of survey or review option upon check out, which has become standard in the industry. I have never left a negative review for any restaurant/ hotel/resort/VRBO etc, and I strongly encourage others to be wary of staying here or booking any kind of meeting event; and suggest that any charges already incurred in your stay be scrupulously examined for evidence of overcharge. Our rooms and the grounds were as described and housekeeping was lovely.     Saved the day

    This restaurant and resort are amazing. Incredibly accommodating and family focused. The toddler pool and big kids slide was perfect for both of our family’s age groups. In my error we showed up to Arlo and hour and a half early and Cloe was able to adjust our wait time and get us in as soon as possible.     Unexpected perfection

    Great location and event discount. Staff are awesome and show care for their hotel. Awesome food and plenty of lovely resort spaces to work or play. My room was small but clean with two great queen beds. The shower had half a door but I understood once all that hit water hit me (you need air) LOLLLL. I will be back.
