Location

This hotel is located 7 km from the San Diego International Airport, in Mission Bay. It is 2 minutes from public transport links, just a 5-minute drive from Sea World and the Old Town and only 10 minutes by car from the world-famous San Diego Zoo and the beaches. Guests will find the Gaslamp Quarter with its restaurants and bars a 12-minute drive away. Legoland California is some 30 minutes away and it is about 90 minutes by car to Anaheim and Disneyland.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with a lift and 316 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock.     This property is an outstanding choice for anyone staying in the San Diego beach/Hotel Circle area. What impressed me most was the exceptional value it offers compared to many nearby hotels. The amenities are excellent and well-maintained, including a large pool and hot tub area, on-site coin-operated guest laundry, a newly updated fitness center with free weights, and incredibly comfortable new down bedding.Compared to many Hotel Circle properties—which are often overpriced and lack convenient walking access to dining and shopping—this property stands out for both value and location. Within walking distance, you’ll find virtually every type of dining option imaginable, as well as grocery and convenience stores. There is even a Panera Bread on-site. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, it’s possible to walk to the beach as well.The service was truly exceptional. General Manager Rodrigo Campos and his team consistently went above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. I would especially like to recognize Tom at the front desk, Operations Manager Justin, and team member Ray, with whom I had a great conversation about local dining and shopping recommendations.Parking is plentiful, although there may be a parking fee, so it’s worth confirming in advance. The guest rooms are newly renovated, clean, modern, and fresh. I particularly enjoyed spending time at both the pool area and the fitness center during my stay.As a guest unfamiliar with San Diego, I especially appreciated the personal attention from GM Rodrigo. He took the time to recognize my status, welcome me with a thoughtful arrival gift, and share helpful insights about the area. His commitment to hospitality was evident throughout my stay. He told me that his number one priority is ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued, and my experience confirmed that this is more than just a statement—it is clearly reflected in how the property operates.In an area where many high-tourism hotels can feel impersonal, this property distinguishes itself through genuine hospitality, excellent service, and outstanding value.     I wanted to recognize Tom from the reception area, the minute we walked in to check in for our stay, he greeted us with a warm smile, great vibes, the best energy , he is so Informative and provides the absolute best customer experience, we’ve gone over with other questions and he always makes sure guest are taken care of , his service is 5 stars , so professional 10/10 so professional and genuine, we’ve stayed all over the country and overseas in many hotels as we are an airforce family, but it’s very rare to encounter such amazing customer service like the one Tom provides , he is a gem & we so appreciate him !     Problem free stay. Clean and well-kept property. If you’re okay with doors opening to the outside/parking lot (motel style) and no breakfast this was a great hotel. It met my needs perfectly. Location was good and central to the four days we went exploring San Diego. Parking fee of $20 a night was reasonable. Good customer service and responsive staff.     Great spacious room, frank at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Great location from seaworld. Clean a good atomsphere and great value for money. just have to try the jacuzzi now.     Frank checked us in and was great. Then we had to re check in and that lady was super nice. The only problem we had was the cards stopped working and we had to get new cards.
