  Good for airport stay

  I stayed here for one night before moving to a hotel closer to San Francisco. I picked this hotel because it one of the lowest hotel rates in the area. I arrived at SFO early, and notified the hotel I would be checking in early. The shuttle pick up at the airport was easy, as it is scheduled every 15 minutes. The shuttle services both the Aloft and the Westin, which are right next to each other. Upon arrival, the front desk wanted to upgrade me to a suite (due to my program status), but none where available. Given that I arrived at 10:30am, that didn't bother me at all, and suggested any room would be fine since I was there for only one night. I was given a room on the top floor. The hotel may not be new, but it's well kept and clean. I've stayed at a few Aloft properties, and this one probably had more recreational stuff do do in the lobby than the ones I've seen before - lots of boardgames, pool table, books, and an old coin-op video game arcade machine. The lobby, hallways and rooms have the same colorful, and younger vibe.My room was quite big. Plenty of space, comfortable bed, sizeable washroom counter, working safe, and a fridge that ran quietly. I had no problems with my room.I used the gym once, and it was average size and had typical equipment. They did have two Peloton bikes, for Peloton users.There's isn't much in the immediate area. The Bayfront park is across the street, which is a quiet place to watch planes land at SFO. I also found the New England Lobster Market & Eatery not far way, that is worth trying for fresh lobster.Overall, I was happy with my stay. For an airport stay, it had everything I wanted. If I was in the area longer, I'd be tempted to stay somewhere more convenient and doesn't charge $50/night for parking.   Hip Modern Hotel with a Convenient Location Near SFO

  This is a great choice if looking for a hotel near SFO. Modern and hip vibe starting from when you enter the main lobby. Our room was also with a modern design and was very comfortable with a nice walk-in shower. Good sound proofing as we could hear the thrust of the plane engines as they began their take off at the adjacent runway, but it wasn't too noisy. There is a convenient free airport shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from 4am-1230am plus it is available on request throughout the middle of the night. Also helpful is the CalTrain/BART Station at Millbrae which is less than a mile away and can be reached with a 15-20 minute walk or with a short inexpensive ride share. All of this at a reasonable rate making this a great place to stay near the airport.   Fraud Alert - Dont stay here: This hotel misrepresents charges. They give a flat folio at checkout knowing business travelers in a rush will not wait to review. I found extra charges of $60 (as Other) on my folio of 2 nights, which their duty manager could not explain.   OUR FAV "GO TO" HOTEL AT SFO!

  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel! The location is ideally located within 5 minutes of the San Francisco International Airport. You can see the planes flying into and out of SFO and the waterfront so close by. Walking into the hotel you get an upgraded modern vibe feel and the open lobby concept. Lots of seating all around. Left go towards the wxyz lounge/bar, straight and head to check-in and right side are their snacks & sundries/breakfast. When working, they also have a fabulous RAMEN vending machine, too cool! The value & stay are so much better than the Westin and the hotel lobby, floors, rooms are always so clean. At night, when things are popping at the lounge, it can get a bit noisy but it never affects the stay. Rooms (even ones facing the freeway) are soundproof and never have we heard any neighbors or freeway noise. We absolutely love this place. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping & managers are friendly and always have smiles on their faces. We stay here everytime we have to go through SFO and will continuously be here. You can even ask for a room closest to the elevator and won't hear anyone or the elevator at anytime. (IYKYK & thank me later). Rooms are clean, cozy & amenities are awesome. Self-Parking is $48/day, no valet and they do have a shuttle from/to SFO that is complimentary and runs every 15-20 mins (times vary/ask front desk) - Can't wait to be there again soon!   This is an airport parking lot that also may sell hotel rooms.

  To start they sell parking spots for short term airport parking. They oversell and leave no spaces for hotel guests. We drove around the parking lot for 30 mins trying to find a spot. They told us to park in the fire zone. They then told us to park in staff parking which was also full. We said we didn’t want to stay if we can’t park and they were going to charge an 80$ cancellation fee. This is not a hotel it’s a parking lot with rooms, they prioritize profits from parking over guests. No doubt they will reply to this with some canned response about doing better.
