    Nice hotel with generous, clean, comfortable rooms. My only complaint was that the location is a bit inconvenient. I would not recommend staying here if you will not have a car. There is nothing walkable to/from this hotel. No shops or restaurants nearby.     Hotel appears to be newer - did not notice any signs of wear and tear. Conveniently located right off the 101 (but did not hear road noise from our room). We were originally booked in a queen room, but requested to be moved to a king room on the day of check-in, and they were able to accommodate even though it was a handicap accessible room). All of the front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Onsite restaurant/Starbucks satellite. Pool area was nice, elevators were quick, parking was convenient. Mini-fridge, microwave and coffee pot in room. Ample seating vignettes in the lobby area. Decent gym available on property.Walls were a bit thin (we could hear the man next door talking in his room) but the hotel was quiet for the most part. Would definitely recommend this hotel.     Nice hotel near Bair Island

    Stayed here one night during a company event the next day. I find the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Room was huge with the expected amenities. Though some construction was taking place and took out one of the elevators, but the other two were just fine and promptly available when called for.The hotel is near 101, but you wouldn’t know it bet you never hear any noise from the highway. The hotel is also near residential area with a nature park that is the Bair Island park. In the morning, it’s really refreshing and relaxing for a run in the park. I also used the 24-hour gym during late evening hours and that, too, was surprisingly pleasant.     One of Our Favorite Courtyard Properties!We absolutely loved our stay at the Courtyard Redwood City. We hadn't been here for a few years. From the moment we arrived and checked in, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality. Linda at the front desk in the morning was especially warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Kacey, with a wonderful positive personality at the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience—breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated being able to take it upstairs after I dined first downstairs to my husband in our spacious and impeccably clean room (Room 419).The hotel itself is modern, well-appointed, and thoughtfully maintained. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jacqueline, the well-informed Area Director of Sales, who would be an excellent resource if you're considering hosting a meeting, event or intimate wedding (under 200 guests).The location is ideal—just south of San Francisco and right near Highway 92, making it easy to head to the coast or over to the East Bay.Highly recommended for both leisure and business stays.     Dog Friendly Hotel stay

    The Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City is a good hotel if you need a place to stay in the area. It is located in a safe, but isolated, area near Bair Island Wildlife Refuge which means there are no nearby restaurants or shopping walking distance. The public spaces are spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The room we were assigned (king bed with sofa) was on the small side, but comfortable and clean. Parking is self parking. The hotel is dog friendly ($150 flat fee). Courtyard swimming pool. A small fitness room. The breakfast bar in the lobby Bistro has a limited menu and coffee.
