    I strongly do NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Our experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish.First, the employees were incredibly rude. When we arrived, they rushed us while we were trying to park, making the whole check-in process feel stressful instead of welcoming. We had an issue with the reservation and because we got there late, they told us that any issue with our reservation would have to wait until the next day, which is completely unacceptable after a long day of travel.To make matters worse, there was no hot water during our stay. Nothing was done to fix it or even properly address the inconvenience.We then needed to extend our stay by one more night, but were told there were no rooms available. However, they said if we were willing to pay $180 (which is about 50% more than what we paid the previous night), they suddenly “might” have something. Even more concerning, they implied that if we paid in cash, they would cancel someone else’s reservation just to give us the room. That is completely unprofessional and unethical.Overall, the service, honesty, and basic amenities were all below expectations. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

    Everything seems nice until...

    We stayed at the Coventry Motor Inn for 3 nights (14th–17th October) during our U.S. trip. On arrival, there was some confusion with our booking dates, but the staff found us the last king room available which was fine as we were made aware to request housekeeping by 7 p.m. the night before.The room itself looked lovely at first it was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a few days of sightseeing. Unfortunately, things went downhill on the second night when I woke up itching and found ants in the bed , There was only a few so we killed them and went back to sleep.As we awoke the following morning we found more ants in the bed and were crawling up the gap between the bed and headboard so decided to move the furniture out away from the wall and could see them crawling from a hole between the floor and the skirting board right where our bed sat against the wall.We reported this to reception around 10:45a.m and the staff member said housekeeping would clean and resolve the issue. However, when we returned that evening at 8pm while we could see the bed had been made and towels replaced, the ants were still there and the area behind the bed hadn’t been touched at all (dust and old bottle caps from previous guests that we found the same morning were still present!)We went back to reception and asked to change rooms but the night security guard said the manager wasn’t onsite, There were no rooms available (despite the vacancy sign still being on outside), He couldn’t leave the desk to help and when asked if we could borrow a hoover he told us no. I finally asked if we could speak to the manager to help resolve the issue or move us to one of the other 'Motor Inn' hotels down the road but we were told the manager could only be contacted if there was an emergency or if someone was ill, His final words to us were "No my friend, there's nothing we can do".In the end we went out to find a shop and brought ant spray to deal with it ourselves, We moved the bed away from the wall checked all surfaces and sprayed the whole skirting board and gaps to hopefully deal with it and put our head down for a few hours sleep. Later at around 10:30pm we were woke with a call from reception saying a room had suddenly become available — frustrating, since we’d asked earlier and been told there were none but at that point we were exhausted and due to check out at 5 am so relucantly we declined.It’s a shame, because without these issues the hotel could have been a solid choice as it was in a great location, comfortable bed, decent amenities. But the ant infestation, lack of cleaning, and poor handling by staff really let it down. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend.     Nice place to stay in San Fransisco near the Golden Gate Bridge

    The Coventry Motor Inn offers a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and notably clean, with thoughtful decorations that add to their appeal. While breakfast wasn't offered during our stay, the check-in process was effortless, and the front-desk person was helpful in giving us the pass to park our car in the basement. Our overall experience was up to the mark, and I would confidently recommend this inn to any traveller.

    Fraudulent credit card charges

    Under no circumstances should you book a room with this motel or any of their sister properties! We just checked out this morning and there were four different changes on my credit card. They acknowledged that two of those were incorrect and refunded them to me but there was another $600 charge that was not correct and they refused to do anything about. Told me they don't see that charge on their end and that I could email the manager or dispute with my credit card company. I was basically accused of making this up! The front desk person then proceeded to hang up on me. I don't know what happened to my credit card information but feel that my account has been compromised or that they used my card for another person's stay. We really like the motel but given the response to a fraudulent charge on their behalf should be enough to keep anyone from taking a risk with this establishment

    AVOID AVOID AVOID. WiFi wasn’t working and front desk said a refund would be issued so I left within 15 mins and booked another hotel. Manager is now claiming this didn’t happen and denying refund. Stated he doesn’t care what his customers think and because his employee didn’t call him it doesn’t count. Upon inquiring how that is my fault and showing him paper written by his employee he said no refund and feel free to review him. So here is that review. If you care about having WiFi or spending your money with reasonable people, this isn’t the spot for you.
