  My third time staying here found that it has gone downhill. They switched out carpeting for laminate flooring, but the floors were super sticky, and it was difficult to get someone to fix that. Even when they did send someone, and I tipped her in advance, the job was incomplete, such that when I walked around the room, I still ran into sticky places which then stuck to the bottoms of my shoes and got tracked around the room again. In addition, the toilet was faulty--you had to hold down the handle in order for it to complete the flush. The room seemed bare bones--no doors on the closet, no full length mirror, and you have to ask for everything if you want to use the kitchen. Grab and go breakfast is bare bones. For the money, I expect more than what this property offers. On the positive side, it's pet friendly, there were no bugs, and they've been available during power outages or other home emergencies. Still, I think I'd pay more and go somewhere else next time, if at all possible. Sorry.

  Rooms are quaint and quiet, easily walkable to ammenties and transportation, and when on the road easy access to major highways and byways. Extended Stay America San Carlos have great rates especially in longer applications and are military friendly. If there's one word I can use to describe staff here front of house to back of the house it would be consistency. Well done everyone!   Hospitality? They are anything but!

  I’ve never known anyone as mean as their staff, in particular, C*. (Her exact name is on other reviews, unsurprisingly, all one star)I booked a room for my wife on Agoda. As it’s my account, my name was the leading guest. However, when I help my wife, who is pregnant on week 32, to check in, C* refused because I didn’t bring my physical ID. Even my wife has her ID, the credit card we used for booking, my ID’s photo and copy. Even my wife, in late pregnancy, beg her sincerely. Even I made it clear that I won’t stay but my wife need to rest after a long day and just need a room we have paid for. She was cold like a machine saying: “You have to leave because you are together. “Last time I checked, hospitality means the generous reception of guests, visitors, or strangers. C* is anything but.We ended up in a nearby hotel. Same booking situation but they have no problem. Looking at other reviews on C*’s scary behaviors, I feel lucky that she didn’t let us in.   Perfect for my needs, clean & staff always there if & when needed & very helpful.Also plenty parking & that is a plus . Laundry room is nice when needed.

  Great location away from city. Staff is extremely helpful. Clean rooms and a nice breakfast and coffee. Will be back soon!
