  Disappointed and wouldnt stay again. Used a Hyatt customer service rep to book the hotel and the 100.00 parking was not mentioned nor was the fact this isnt a family friendly area whatsoever. Tried to transfer points to another hyatt and received a "too bad" response. Tried to request a point transfer or refund through the proper channels and was instead accused of essentially trying to scam them when all I wanted was a clean, safe environment for my family. The parking was disappointing as the other hyatt charged 27.00 a day valet and we were fine with that, but found out its 100.00 at this location upon arrival. So in a panic to get my rental car out of the loading zone and figure everything out, I came in and got a key to the room to atleast have a place to sit and evaluate the coming 3 days of our stay. This ended up being the reason they are comfortable taking my hotel points with no refund or any type of consolation. This area was busy, loud and I was 2 hours from our previous accommodations so we didnt really have a choice but to stay that night at minimum. Just really disappointed because our stay at Hyatt Santa Cruz was absolutely phenomenal. No complaints whatsoever. Its left a bad taste for Hyatt after the managments responses to me reaching out for a solution as I checked out the next morning and that room likely was rebooked to someone else. Feels like the common family and how hard we work to give our kids these experiences just arent important.   Really close to Oracle Park and a nice clean place. Everyone was very friendly and we would definitely stay here again. Parking is a little hard, but this is typical for San Francisco.   My hotel home away from home

  This is my hotel home away from home. I've been staying here 5 to 6 weeks out of the year over the past 3 plus years. One of the most special things about this hotel is that The Staff! They are always so friendly and accommodating. And It has been the same staff over the 3 years. I see the same friendly, familiar faces when I arrive and they greet me by name. They always remember that I love to have a tea kettle for my evening hot tea, So they have it sent to my room as soon as I arrive. I always get a king room and I've stayed on so many floors, The rooms are consistently clean and well maintained. I've never had a bad room experience in all of my stays. That has a lot to do with the amazing housekeeping crew. They come in daily to refresh and reset the room, So when I come in, the bed is made, the bathroom is refreshed everything is in place and reset. Not once have I ever had to ask for anything to be sent up to my room. It's all already taken care of. And let's talk about the breakfast setup! Because this is one of the best hotel breakfast I've ever had in my life. There's a hot bar with bacon, sausage and potatoes and eggs and it rotates daily. There's a yogurt bar with fresh fruit and even hard boiled eggs, there's always oatmeal with toppings. There's a center island filled with all of the carbs you can think of even tortillas. The bananas are always just ripe and that's rare. And there are two coffee stations one by the breakfast area and one by the front entry. I love the coffee! I really like the walkability of this hotel too! It's only a block from my office and very close to Oracle stadium as well as being close to the embarcadero walkway. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and the crew. I love staying here and will always highly recommend this location. Tell them that I sent you! I want to say kudos to the leadership team because whatever you're doing, It's working and it should be duplicated in other hotels. See y'all next month!   Home away from home

  This is my go-to hotel home away from home every time I visit SF which is about 5 to 6 weeks throughout the year. The crew knows me by name and every time I enter the hotel I get the warmest and friendliest of welcomes. They always remember how I like a tea kettle so I can make hot tea in the evenings, And they have it sent up as soon as I arrive. Something very special is that the crew is the same crew that I met several years ago. That says something about the way this hotel team is led and retained. And it shows. Housekeeping is the absolute best. The rooms are always clean and I've stayed on almost every level That has a king bed. They come in everyday and refresh the room and make sure it's nice and clean. This is one of the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The coffee is delicious and the food is always fresh and tasty. There's a hot food bar, oatmeal, yogurt with fresh fruit, a juice station and so much more.
