    The hotel itself is cute. But you have to know what type of room and where the room is located before you book it. If you're getting a ballet, make sure you ask for street view the one that has a table or your room will be super super small. Bathroom is updated. Does have a coffee maker and microwave and small fridge. Does not have a safe in the room. There is coffee tea and hot cocoa available all the time down on the main floor. The restaurant inside the hotel, is phenomenal but it's best if you have reservations. We found out it is a favorite of the locals. Front desk staff is super super nice. The parking garage is literally right behind the hotel and very convenient.

    Awesome Victorian-flair hideaway

    It is our second stay. So excited for the location, staff and surroundings. The staff are top notch and attentive. Fresh coffee in the lobby every morning. Victorian style and appeal. Elevator out-of-service, however gave us two days of pastries, fruit and juice for the inconvenience.

    Quaint inn in Civic Center. Stayed here for a long weekend with my boyfriend while we were in town for a wedding, and it was a comfortable stay. We weren’t able to check in early but they were able to store our bags securely. The room was cozy and they have a TV that you can connect to your phone. They gave us macarons as a little snack on Friday afternoon and they have hot water/teas in the lobby. WiFi is free and it’s a fairly short walk to the BART station. The employees were all very nice and the entrance is secured by keycard at night for security. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for a reasonable price.     Great San Francisco stay - would for sure return here!

    Stopped in San Francisco for a couple days after the Big Sur Marathon - This was a great location! East Hayes Valley location where so many of the colorful traditional homes are located. Walk to the painted ladies in about 8-10 minutes and the fun park there. Walk to cable car locations and local bus routes. The hotel itself is very historical and fun. Rooms are tiny - but we expected that. Very clean, comfy beds, best linens and pillows. Lovely and updated, modern baths. Felt very safe in the neighborhood, nothing concerning at all, very artsy neighborhood, ballet, opera, civic center. Also walk to Trader Joes in 3-4 minutes.     This was my first stay at the Inn and I was delighted. The remodeling is gorgeous and classy. I had a Superior Suite with a queen bed, sofa bed in the sitting area, and two full bathrooms. The kitchenette had a microwave and refrigerator. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I stayed three nights to see the San Francisco Ballet next door at the War Memorial Opera House - the most convenient hotel for the Opera House.
