  Worst hotel service I’ve experienced

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel.My friend and I booked a room together, but the reservation was made under his name. I arrived at the hotel before him and explained to the front desk that my friend would arrive later, and he had asked me to check in ahead of time since we were traveling in separate cars. Despite this, they refused to check me in — even after I provided the name under the reservation and explained the situation.I then asked if I could use the restroom while I waited. They said there was no restroom available. As a result, I had to sit in my car for over an hour at night, waiting for my friend to arrive just so we could get into our room.Two days later, I returned to the hotel and tried to open the room with my key card — it wouldn’t work, likely because it had been demagnetized. My friend was at work, so I went to the front desk, told them my room number, showed my ID, and explained that I was staying in the room booked under my friend’s name.Again, they refused to help. They told me I wasn’t listed in the reservation and wouldn’t issue me a new key, leaving me locked out of my own room. Once again, I had to wait outside in my car until my friend could return and let me in.This level of service is unacceptable. I understand the need for security, but in both situations, there was more than enough information to verify who I was and allow access. Instead, I was treated with indifference and inflexibility.I do not recommend this hotel — especially if you’re traveling with a group or arriving separately. Be prepared to be locked out, denied access to basic facilities, and left waiting in your car — even late at night.

  FRAUD WARNING. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The cheap price and last minute availability hooked us in—but getting settled in, my girlfriend noticed an infestation of tiny bugs in the tub. We were freaked out but we were exhausted and it was late in the evening. We checked the bed for bedbugs and didn't find any. Too tired to make a big deal about it, and assuming we 'get what we pay for,' we decided just to ignore it.Around noon the next day (having ched out that morning), we noticed we'd been charged the $50 deposit, plus an extra $150. We both called and spoke with the manager, and he said there was a scratch in the TV and missing picture frames. These were both ridiculous claims—as we never touched the TV and only an crazy person would want their wall decor.We told him we would pursue a fraud claim, which we did, but the bank wouldn't purdue the full amount, and we are still waiting to learn the outcome.BOTTOM LINE, I would avoid this hotel like the plague. My girlfriend and I have a saying about each place we stay—"well at least this isn't the LiA HOTEL!"

  Would not stay here again. The owner/worker was very disrespectful. Made racial comments toward me and my parents. Accused my parents of smoking cigarettes when the place already stinks of it. A truly awful business and needs to improve if they want more customers

  Clean room , Fair price, Friendly Staff. Room #219 😎👍 I will most definitely be staying here again upon my return in the Future. Many Restaurants and several Bars close by just a Short 5 min walk away .Located close to Hwy 101 with easy off and on access .

  Firstly, it's not a hotel - it's very much a motel. Access from outside felt unsafe. Linoleum floors, thin, small towels. I killed a baby roach in the bathroom. Very small soaps that hardly lather, along with tiny pouches of shampoo (which I thought wasn't allowed anymore in CA, but...?) The bed was comfortable, but the heater wouldn't come on until it was 4 degrees below the set point, nor go off until it was 4 degrees above it, so it was pretty uncomfortable. Almost immediately upon checking in, I was accosted by a couple whose male component asked me if I wanted him to buff out "that scratch" in my car. As I didn't actually HAVE a scratch in my car, and it wasn't actually my car (it was my wife's, and she has a preferred detailer,) I demurred, but in retrospect, this might have been a veiled threat (?) If I had driven past the property first, or even taken the simple step of looking at it in Google street view, I NEVER would have booked it, Not recommended, although I do have to say that all of the staff that I interacted with were nothing but professional and helpful. The place has promise, but it isn't there just yet.
