    Clean and comfortable but loud road noise

    The hotel is clean and comfortable and clearly well maintained. However an old building is still an old building even if it is cleaned up. The noise from the road outside is endless and loud, you will have no quiet. Engine noises, loud exhaust , etc. Bur what's more is you can hear your neighbors in other rooms. Someones alarm went off at 5am and they kept hitting pause instead of turning it off. Walls so thin that at 6am the other neighbors phone started vibrating on tbe table and I could hear it. Between the two of them there was. no sleeping in. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, good prices good parking, just do not expect quiet.

    Lack of parking , lack of front desk staff. Bad internet. You get what you pay for but it is clean. I don’t have any more words to add!!!

    I needed a place to crash for the night near Sausalito and the Muir Woods Lodge was perfect. It's your typical motel, but very clean, accessible, safe and close to many tourist attractions. There's a shopping center 1/4 mile away for groceries, Equator coffee for a great start to your day.

    I wouldn't call this a Hotel or Lodge, it is a 2 story typical Motel. With that in mind, you will have all you would expect from a motel, a little older, but generally clean and comfortable. Free WiFi, Free Parking, too! Right off the 101 Freeway and only 5-6 miles from SF over the Golden Gate Bridge. Close to Muir Woods (which you need an advance reservation to visit). Fantastic price for being this close to everything. Check-in after 2 -3pm, check out before 11am. I got my room for $104, October 2025.
