  Our 1st stay in a motel. We didn't have a car but we loved the location. Right next to the Marina,Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate Bridge.The motel aas very modern and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The reception guy was very pleasant and helpful and let us check in early and leave our cases on check out.   Surprisingly great experience! (New manager!)

  We booked this motel redeeming points from the Sonesta loyalty program and had no high expectations, after having read the reviews over the past years. Our stay exceeded all expectations! This motel met our purpose perfectly: arriving to SF from the North, crossing the Golden Gate, the hotel is just a few minutes away, on Lombard Street (which some miles on becomes the work famous steep street). The neighborhood is safe and has convenient bars an restaurants. Bus N° 28, connecting he Golden Gate Bridge with Fisherman's Warf, stops right in front of the hotel. Free parking is available in the inside court (as for all other motels on Lombard). Our room was clean, spacious and quite (ask for a rook on the backside opposite the entrance). There is a nice and cozy patio on the rooftop. The well maintained exteriors gave a flavor of SF in past decades. What more to ask for? We would not hesitate to go there again!   Better than expected!!

  Clean and modern rooms Friendly staff and very easy check in. We could even get our room hours before check in timeLocation very good, close to Golden Gate Bridge and the beach.   Resentful manager.

  I stayed for 6 nights here and booked last minute. Sadly the attitude of the woman who manages it leaves a lasting impression. This unfortunately overrides anything good that can be said about this place. She had a resentful attitude to her job. I did read this in other reviews prior to booking so was ready for it. I wouldn’t stay there again.   Super 8, reasonable & comfortable…

  Roy is the nicest, & most sympathetic mgr. I’ve ever met. Roy will not be taken advantage of. Roy will help where he can. Super 8 in SF is totally renovated. There’s outside structural painting going on. The rooms have all been renovated to 21st century standards. New bathrooms, new flooring, painted walls, LED lighting. Have to comment on the toilets. They’re TOTO’s. They flush everything. Took note for my own home. Parking is partially covered but, inset from the street. Your vehicle will be safe. The Marina is an affluent district. Nice homes, & great places to walk. Parallel on Chestnut St are fabulous restaurants. A UPS & Apple 🍎 store within walking distance. Napizza Restaurant has the BEST wood fire pizza, I’ve ever tasted. Tell Silvio, Chuck sent ya. You’re just a couple miles from Fisherman’s Wharf. Take an Uber for $10. Cheap! Don’t worry about parking. You can safely walk the area. I was very satisfied with the moderate rates at Super 8. I didn’t need much. Wasn’t staying there all day long. Clean, close, safe & a nice Mgr, Roy, who will help make your stay comfortable.
