A fantastic stay

We were after accommodation in a safe part of town, near the wharf area, with kitchen facilities for our 3 night stay. We booked a one bedroom suite.As I’m a light sleeper we asked for a quiet room, and got one away from the road. We couldn’t hear traffic noise in the room which was great considering the location. However soundproofing in the complex and noisy guests were a bit of an issue - soundproofing from the room above wasn't the best, and also people talking loudly in the central “courtyard” area late at night or very early in the morning.Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and we would happily stay there again. It is in a very convenient location, and we could catch the cable car on the corner in front of hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even got free cookies on check-in.The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the bathroom while compact was nice. The bed was comfortable.

Yes, the place was clean. No, I would not book again. I booked because it was across the street from Gary Danko and we could walk to dinner. Wasn't too sure how safe we would be walking around at night. San Fran has cleaned up greatly in these last few years. No need to worry about safety. This hotel looks like it was once a condo/apartment building. The walls are made of paper no matter if you're on the street side or not. Guest leaving at 4am allow the doors to slam and you can hear your neighbor above & next you. The bathroom door is a pocket door and trying to close it in the middle of the night is noisy! The toilet paper towel holder continually fell apart. Yes, it was large (living room & kitchen) and may be fine for economical travelers. Is a big unit, with a nice kitchen, in a perfect location. The personal is really nice. My week wiht them was perfect. recommended. Great base to enjoy the city

We checked in after 15 hour travel day from the UK. Staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. The apartment was very spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The rooftop deck was amazing! We sat and had coffee up there while we planned our day. Location is perfect. We explored the whole city from here. The only tiny gripe is that the bedroom window was on a landing and other guests could be a little noisey outside the window not realising we were sleeping. The disturbance was minimal but with the jet lag it wasn’t my favourite. This is the first time we are staying at downtown SFO. The Suites @ Fisherman´s Wharf is at perfect location with 5 min walk to Pier 39. The famous Ghirardelli Square is just around the corner. The Lambard/ Crooked street is also around the corner. The best is you could walk around and enjoy the location. The other thing we enjoyed was the world famous Cable Car whose starting point is next to the Suites. In terms of the food would recommend "Crab House" @ Pier 39 , if you are Crab lovers this is the perfect place one need to have reservation. If you want a quick bite would recommend " Cousins Maine Lobster" .Now regarding the stay, we stayed one Bedroom Suite and you can easily fit in 4 adults. They have a King Size Bed and Sofa bed which are comfortable and full fledged kitchen. The staff @Suites are wonderful and always helpful, Patrik have been wonderful and helped us from directions and also suggesting us to try the driverless car Waymo which is an experience one should not miss.Parking is available but limited , best is to use Waymo or bus/train which is at the doorstep.
