  NON-EXISTENT SECURITY DOOMS THIS LOCATION

  We are fans of Best Western hotels, and this was the second time we stayed at this location, mostly due to location and price, but we will never stay there again. The biggest issue is THE LACK OF SECURITY. Access to guest rooms is UNRESTRICTED. Anyone can walk off this busy street into the courtyard. But that's not the biggest concern. Two rooms across from us were having a party on a recent Saturday night, and it was loud, getting louder by the minute. We called the front desk to request their assistance in addressing the situation. The phone rang unanswered for ten minutes. Excuse: "I had to address matters in our stock room." We understand how important a safe and comfortable environment is for every guest. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve, we are currently looking into adding a secured door to the staircase as an additional safety measure, along with reviewing our overall security protocols.We are also reinforcing procedures to better monitor guest activity and respond more quickly to noise concerns.We regret that this experience fell short of your expectations and that we lost your trust. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the safe, quiet, and enjoyable stay you expect from us.

  Those online renovation pictures sure had me fooled.

  I thought I’d give them a chance, since it said online they had just had some renovations done and they a had free parking garage but with limited space. The first problem I ran into was parking. It was completely full. I needed a nearby parking spot since I was staying over for 2nights for a back procedure I was having done at UCSF. Well funny thing is while was I waiting in my car parked in a handicapped spot, keep in mind it was just for offloading my baggage and checking in, downloading a car parking spot APP on my phone someone showed up out of nowhere after I was I told by staff no one was expected to be checking out anytime soon. They pulled out of a spot they were saving for a family. This man wasn’t staying there. Yet he was saving a spot. I was furious I had to find a parking garage 15minutes away to park my car during my stay that cost 70$+ plus 40$+ on Lyft getting me there and back. now back to the rooms. They were filthy. they were noisy. And my god I have never stayed somewhere where there’s a window where pigeons come by every minute of the day and the night and keep someone up. It’s ridiculous. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere.   Best Stay In SF!

  Where do I begin?! This Hotel was simply Amazing! The check in process was super easy and the front desk staff was very friendly and kind! As soon as I got into my room you can see how neat and clean it was( shout out to the house keepers)! It seems like they recently just renovated cause all the furniture looked brand new which was a big plus! The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were just perfect! The location of this hotel is amazing aswell, it's near alot of toursit attractions/ sights and there are also so many restaurants and bars in walking distance to the hotel! Definitely would be staying here again!   Perfect choice !

  The price was fair and the location was perfect. The room was clean and quiet and safe parking was available in the garage. The staff was friendly and responsive to our requests. Riya and Hari were very helpful and welcoming. I recommend reserving and paying for a parking space if you’re driving. I would definitely stay here again.   I rented this room because of the fireplace when I got to the hotel on the 11th of Feb they told me the fireplace wasn't working and it hasn't been working and they didn't even try to get it working for my hole stay until the 15 th they took my money and knew the fireplace wasn't working and hasn't been working so they just lied then they offered me two sodas to make up for no fireplace on Valentine's Day weekend I am pissed off I will never go to that hotel again Akash Vanmali, General Manager at SureStay By Best Western San Francisco Marina District, responded to this review I’m truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience.
