    Ideal friendly B&B for visiting city attractions near to Union Square

    Four nights at the Andrews Hotel. This was in a great location for the City attractions, a couple of blocks away from Union Square.The rooms are compact but clean, warm and comfortable. I would consider it like a typical B&B/Guest House but was ideal for us. The rooms had everything we required for a short stay, kettle inc tea and coffee, safe, toiletries. A slight issue with the hot tap which was cold or warm at best.The breakfast was nice for us, pastries, bagels, cereals, toast and fruit etc. Tea and coffee was available in the lobby 24/7.We asked assistance from the receptionist and they were willing to help each time.Overall a pleasant stay and we would consider staying again if in San Francisco.Not if arriving on the BART from the airport get off at Union rather than Civic Center. The latter means you walk along Taylor Street which was somewhat sketchy especially at night.     I had a great stay at this hotel in San Francisco. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. One of the best things about this hotel is its location — it’s close to everything, which made getting around the city very easy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco.     Excellent Hotel in Good Location

    Excellent hotel in good location. My room was very clean. The room came with a safe, two robes, luggage rack, large closet, ironing board and iron. The ceiling fan worked well and provided good ventilation. The lobby has a coffee and tea machine that is always available. The continental breakfast includes boiled eggs, fruit, cheeses, bagels, bread, and pastries.The restaurant, FINO, is excellent! I had a lot of fun at the well-stocked bar. Guests are treated to a free glass of wine between 5 PM and 6 PM. The hotel is close to BART (perfect for coming from the airport), the Powell Street cable car, and the buses on Market Street. Trader Joe’s is within walking distance. Union Square is very close with lots of shopping.     A clean and cozy hotel. The Fino restaurant is excellent! Have the gnocchi! Megan, the bartender, is so awesome! Wonderful location in walking distance to Union Square. Very affordable.
